2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

The last thing we should do is back Dyche in the transfer window. We don't want more players to fit his style. We need a completely different style so a new manager should be appointed to make signings.

Forget Dyche.

The new owners need to back Everton.

This team desperately needs investment, now.

It's been starved of investment for too long, and the gamble we can see this season out by relying on Leicester being worse can't be entertained.

We signed Chermiti in August 2023 mate.

It was 777 in talks then.

The point is, we can't blame Sean Dyche for recruitment. The recruitment long before him, going back to Koeman is what has killed us.

We've made money every window under Dyche, the only team to do so in the league. It's going to sting at some point - it's why we've absolutely got to spend from 1st Jan.
Thought it was when Friedkin was buying but pulled out,

I completely get that we had awful recruiting since Moshiri came in and we are struggling with that knock on affect now, but his lack of any sort of attacking style doesn’t exist with him, his defensive tactics don’t work either,
The average PL game now has 2.2 more goals then in Dyche, Fat boy Jose days of mass defending, the leagues a lot faster then it was then. We either change manager or we get saved by Man City

My point is we'd scored 15 goals in 20 games when Dyche turned up. The season before that, only the relegated teams scored less.

Long before him I'd be moaning on here the lack of pace/goals in the team dictates bad times.

You're kidding yourself if you think lack of goals is resolved when Dyche leaves. We need to bring new players in.
It depends who the next manager is really. Benitez isn't a manager you get if you want to score goals, Lampard is naff and Dyche definitely isn't either. If our next option is a manager who does know how to set up attacking patterns of play then we may score a bit more with this set of players, aswell as getting new ones in.

Ndiaye is one of the best outfield players we have had in the post-Ancelotti years but we will waste his talent if we don't have a manager who can get the best out of him.

I think spending money on players for a manager who is about to leave the club, is a very bad idea.

I don't want Dyche to have any say in recruitment whatsoever because his style of football has no place in the premier league.

We let Benitez sign Mykolenko right before he left. It was a really poor decision and we can't make those kind of mistakes again.

The fact your asking why we aren't playing a 39 year old at LB as the start of your critique speaks volumes really.

The Scottish lad whose name you can't remember has also barely been fit.

Players get better every week in minds when they don't play.
He came on yesterday and was really good.

Myko been way out of form and needs dropping, he refuses to cross the half way line,

He has the leagues worst, and in my view, Everton's worst PL left back behind him.

Change that to who... 39 year old Ashley Young?

Not to mention the likes of Doucoure who can't control his own feet alongside him. Pienaar would look terrible on the left of this Everton team.

The players we brought in to address issues in the final third in NDiaye an Lindstrom - let's not forget they're here because their managers last season didn't fancy them/couldn't get them playing either.

Nevermind that Forest are 2nd playing a similar style. Difference is they have quality and have recruited well of late. The whole obsession with playing the “right” way and playing out the back and all that nonsense really boils my piss. It’s why football is so boring nowadays and it’s sad to see so many fans demanding such a style. Maybe you should ask Saints fans how it worked for them

Would you rather keep Dyche or roll the Dyche(dice)

A managers job is to adjust to the players you have to try and get the best out of the best options. The only thing Dyche did to try that was move McNeil to CAM but he didn't swap from his basic tactical style because he's incapable.

Benitez didn't sign Mykolenko.

It is usually a bad idea, but worse still is relegation.

I get it, you can search my posts and I was very much in the minority saying we shouldn't spend that January under Allardyce as he's definitely off and we wouldn't go down. We signed Tosun and Walcott. I felt both shouldn't have been signed at the time.

But this is a team which has averaged 41 points for 3 seasons on the spin - small margins and Dyche/half of our squads contract situation doesn't help. TFG evidently have infrastructure at Roma etc, they need to be bringing in players this January.

But maybe another manager doesnt play Doucs, who lets face it if he doesnt score a lucky goal offers ZERO else and hes not scoring, currently, just running around losing footballs.

Then theres Harrison, who is super plop, then he continues to play a clearly checked out DCL.

There are options, not great options, but this manager continues to play underperforming players.

Their manager doesn't regularly tell them and everyone who will listen that they are relegation fodder and the best they can hope for is a dycheball draw

A managers job in any walk of life is to manage the resources he has.

Our resources, benchmarked against the league, is relegation fodder.

It was before Dyche, and it will be if he leaves tomorrow.
