2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Yeah, we will probably land there if we stick with Dyche. But that's not my expectation for this season, it's higher. Cannot see us getting 30 points in the 2nd half under him.

Tell me, why there is a justifiable reason to last year, why teams like Bmouth, Fulham, Forest and Brentford that are all at least coached from the same manager for 1 year have progressed in the same time on the pitch and also with the squad, while Everton has regressed. I know some of them have invested more over the years.

Wolves did too, but they sacked a manager that was also not getting out enough of the team and is about Dyche level. And their new manager had a good start so far.
People have got the jitters with the Wolves bounce and Ipswich unexpectedly winning against Chelsea. I get it. But it'll settle down again and those two clubs will end up below us by the season's end.

I dont hate the owners or love Dyche. I just dont want to see hasty decisions made by the owners about the manager and pitchforked into it by clueless fans who's eyes are bigger than their bellies.

Yeah we are a selfish and clueless lot, it must be because of all the success we're used to. Nothing wrong with wanting better it shows ambition and not defeat, complacency.

It's all the practice you've had - and been encouraged to seek by club owners - that make you so trigger happy over our managerial position.

It has to stop. The instability has got us to this point of constant flux and relegation scrambles.

Basically you have to be saved from yourselves.

Ipswich will probably, not sure about Wolves, but still I don't think our squad should be as bad as being involved in the relegation battle till game day 37/38.

I think this is why many will turn on the TFG after a shot while, people have gotten used to the Lord of the Flies fan influence approach to running the club, maybe a whole recent generation.

This wont hold any truck with the Texans.

They're defo a bottom 6 outfit. Last season was a remarkable effort, but an outlier. It's tricked us into believing this season would be a cakewalk.

That's why I said a few days back that conflict with them is baked into the relationship.

Our fans have been weaned on insubstantial 'communication' with club owners for a generation. This lot though will go on radio-silence and ignore.

There'll be kick offs here within a year. It's why I dont see TFG as a long term proposition.

Already we've had a small cliff edge, i think some thought TFG would come in and new broom everything and sack Dyche in the first week or after the first loss in their regime. We're at the half way point of the season, if it hasn't happened it gets less likely (not impossible) he wont be here, especially if he keeps tipping along pointwise.

Ultimately if he stays for the season, that leaves people in the uncomfortable position of sticking to their guns and turning on the ownerships decision making at this early stage.

When you put down any boundary in any walk of life there is usually some sort of protest around that loss of influence or perceived control - i think that's what will happen and TFG will put a boundary down with the fan base.
