Despite all this recent hype, the fact is we were 30mins from relegation.
We were but with the teams we were putting out towards the end of last season and the difficulty of the fixtures (only 2 bottom half teams at home, some of the top teams away), the fact that we weren’t relegated with games to spare was an excellent job.

The aim when he came in was to finish 17th and he did that. The aim this season for me is to be safe with a few games to spare. If we can do more than that, great.

Thought Dyche did a good job myself
We can debate on the quality of the job he did and that’s fair but he survived a real poor situation so he got the job done. People blaming him for mountains and molehills without taking into account the absolute crap he had to put up with or the adjustments he had to make to even field a team (Gray at striker etc.) are overboard. Basically it’s all Maupay’s fault.

He knows the squad well enough now, just hope he's formed a proper strategy to get the most out of them and actually keep us far enough away from the death trap.
Play Garner at RB tho and 'you can do one'...

What exactly is his style of play? Because at the moment I am seeing nothing and I mean nothing??

Everything I saw about Dyche at Burnley and with us last season showed to me that he’s a manager who excels when he’s expected to be completely outplayed and without the ball for the majority of the game aka Brighton/Arsenal. He never showed me as the type of manager to take the game to someone and be the dominant or better side so to speak. It’s why we and he struggles (along with no strikers and lack of squad quality) to really stamp our authority and do well against rubbish like Stoke and Bolton.

He won't here long will he

Considering very little has changed in terms of quality of performance since last season , it doesn’t bode well for his longevity.
All for stability, but stabilising in or around the relegation zone isn’t desirable.

Doesnt matter at this stage what manager came in.

Theres no financial backing. Its very poor.
