Maybe so, but Bielsa would have provided something that Dyche never will - hope.….certainly, but they beat us at Turf Moor.
I’m not too enamoured with Dyche but he’s better than Bielsa. I can see us surviving.
That same team then later came back from 1-2 down to win 3-2 in a pivotal game at the bottom of the league..Last season we beat them 3-1 with like 3 goals in 5 minutes, could and should have been 5-1 at least. Their defence crumbled after they initially took the lead, just like ours has been doing this season. Doesn’t fill me with much confidence.
Thats what i'm eager to find out.U21s? What?
I’m surprised the club never went for that!U21s? What?
I dont think Dyche has taken this job without guarantees there's a striker or two on the way.Big RED flag
I doubt it....I would think keane will be back in at CB, coady may drop out.
To be fair loads of people said that about Allardyce, but ultimately he achieved what was necessary at the time.Wrong appointment for this club. The fact that he wasn't first choice says it all. We know what happens when we go down the list when recruiting. Short sighted appointment with close to zero charisma to bring in the quality players we desperately need to stay in the league.
I disagree with that. They were one nil up and cruising if I remember and we had a 5 minute purple patch and scored 3 goals, two of them on the counter. I remember coming away thinking we were out played for most of the game and got a bit luckyThey were also beaten very easily by Rafael’s Everton last season
Dont agreeThey are crap though.
This isn't a case of a squad not being where it should be...
Maybe it shouldn't be 19th, but it's not like West Ham, who should not be anywhere near a scrap based on the quality they have.
This is a squad that is of relegation-candidate standard.
Sean Dyche is far from a dinosaur, do some research mateDyche might be a decent fit for all I know. I'm just baffled at the clubs incompetence/unwillingness to look outside the same old bunch of English dinosaurs, and actually find a hungry manager with something to prove from another league. Surely there's plenty good ones out there who'd jump at the opportunity of managing in the PL.
Benitez -> Lampard -> Dyche. That's just sad.
