I said yesterday that Dyche is the appointment you see your opponents at or near the foot of the table make and it's concerning because you know the feller will get something from them.

I stand by that.

Maybe write off the next two fixtures, but the last 16 games will be very interesting and he'll have us fired up for a scrap.

ISWT

Agreed, Now can we get him a striker, number 10 and wide forward please ffs.

I dont think Dyche has taken this job without guarantees there's a striker or two on the way.

The quality cant be any worse than we have right now.

Maybe he also does better utilising Maupay in a 442.
I expect he'll be looking at the squad and thinking much of it is equivalent (i.e. players he had!) or better than his Burnley team

The exception to that is up front where I agree a couple of signings are needed - this has been the case all season...

That’s true. We’ve got good defensive players (despite some people’s agendas against Patterson and Mykolenko), we’re ok in holding midfield as well with Onana and Gueye

He’s just got to get something going forward out of Iwobi Gray McNeill Maupay Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Gordon (if he stays) plus anyone else we can get in the window.
Mykelenko ? No agenda mate he’s rubbish, if there is any money to spend he’d be the first I replaced , maybe dyche might get somthing out of him in a different formation

I can sense a real up and at em atmosphere next weekend. Dyche’ first game and presented on pitch before kick off, table topping Arsenal visiting which every man and his dog will expect us to lose, I can just see the crowd being up for this and that will relate to the players. Every tackle that flies in will get the crowd off their feet and even more up for it which will get even more out of the players. I can see this being one of those Goodison days

We haven’t played nice football for 20 years and the only priority right now is to stay in the division.
We can still sack him at the end of the season like we did Sam, but saying that we wouldn’t be in this position now if we had kept Sam.
The brief exception was Martinez's first season. Alas, he only flattered to deceive.

Roberto had a dream To build a football team
He had no money so he signed the players on loan
We play from the back With Ross in attack
The School of Science Is on the way back

It's been pretty much downhill ever since.

At wing back under Lampard yes.

I seem to remember him being one of our better players in the run in last season in a flat back 4. He’s already shown he’s not rubbish and can defend very well in the right system.
Tbf though he's been awful in a back four this season too. It's not just that he's not good at wing-back.

He offers so little going forward.
