How many more managers before we admit this crop of players is absolutely gnash. You can change the board/owner/manager, and it will not any difference, it’s the quality of the players and has been for quite some time now, there skill sets are absolutely atrocious they can’t even pass it to one another, they just hoof it up the pitch and hope, it’s effing sad it really is, no wonder the supporters started leaving early there’s only so much of this rubbish one can take as a supporter, pity the players didn’t feel the same.
Oh there no doubt that the players lack talent and desire.
However , if you are having a clear out and a reset for the future playing personnel/ style then Dyche isn't the man I want in charge

Don’t think you’ll find anyone on here not admitting the squad is rubbish.

Maybe if dyche was in charge sooner we would not be giving him such a hard time.
Exactly it’s the players. There is not a manager on this planet that would get a tune out of this lot.

I agree to a certain extent if we hadn`t seen the 6 game unbeaten run under Lampard earlier in the season and seen us beat the likes of Arsenal in Dyche early days.

I think a manager that can keep them interested for more than half a dozen games could get more.... the trouble is they then decide to throw the manager under the bus, having said that some of Dyche decisions, substitutions and game management is absolutely baffling.

I said before if we were still in touch with the bottom teams by May, with that run of fixtures we would have done well. Be honest no one expected draws against spurs and Chelsea. Villa we were unlucky and Fulham we were missing players but did play poor. Up until Newcastle scoring we held our own. Just not enough quality simple as.

I can't properly back a manager who refuses to play his strongest side and worse still, puts a 40 year old third GK on the bench over some of the young lads. If Mills doesn't get a shot after the season he's having is wrong IMO.

Not saying he would do anything of note but neither will Lonergan who even if Pickford got injured would be nowhere near a game. That just isn't good management really.

The real kicker though is blowing smoke up Michael "Calamity" Keane's arse. When he plays we leak goals, he's error ridden and doesn't have the required confidence.

Sorry Mr Dyche not good enough 4/10

Any chance that I gave him diminished after the game on Thursday night, everyone could see the problem bar him, he continues playing Maupay, he then came out and said Keane played well, he has lost a lot of respect from a lot of Evertonians, does he think we're thick?

He will pick the same clowns on Monday to really rub it in

Also he was laughing at his post match interview the other day, he has no connection to the fans whatsoever
Ok. Well he only has 🤡 's to pick from IMO. But yes OK lets move onto the next manager. How many is that we've tried over how many years? 🤔

There is a lot of back to front football that we play. There are aspects of it though that give me hope goals will follow if we can get a consistent team out. I like that McNeil for example puts the ball in early for a striker and someone big and powerful could do a lot with this. So DCL will come good with it.

My criticism with the back to front stuff is that some of the players do this in a brainless fashion. Pickford hitting it in hope 60 yards to Iwobi, on his own, surrounded by 3 Newcastle defenders is stupid. He ain't going to be able to do anything with that. Yet he did this at least 3 times in that match.

I was worried with how easy Newcastle found us to pick off when we started to take risks in the second half though.

Which is why Bielsa wanted to work with U21’s. He’d looked at first team and realised he’d have to coach/develop the younger players to replace a good chunk of existing first team. Yet a lot of people on here laughed at him and thought Dyche was the better option.

Dyche is failing in the task he was appointed to achieve,
5 games to go and we are embedded 2 points adrift in the relegation zone.
He is failing in the same way his two dismissed predecessors did.
He has already caused Burnley to be relegated twice.
His goal shy style of football is repellent.
His player selection is woeful.
His ability to influence games is non existent.
Why people would want to entrust our future to this second rate, talentless, no-mark totally evades me.
Think that’s a pretty accurate summary. The annoying thing is those failings were all known before he took charge.

Anyone of rational thinking person after that collapse on Thursday knows that they have to make changes to the starting 11 - there’s just no way you can start the same team against Leicester.

Confidence is shot to bits with most of the back for, so change it - there’s players on the bench who play there, can they do any worse? If Keane and Godfrey start another game this season it’s pathetic.

The continued issues with the subs is ridiculous as well - only 3 used after that calamity, and one of them is Maupay?!? It’s like he’s sticking two fingers up to us all.

No mills or other young players on the bench either - just the same old useless tat, which I feared he would do, as he come out with the usual “there’s quality in the squad” cobblers and then picks the likes of Keane, holgate and Davies ffs.

I’ve said it before so many times, even under lampard and Carlos - if I was a young player I would avoid Everton like the plague, because even though there are absolutely terrible players stealing a living in the squad and just not performing, they will keep getting selected and you will never get a sniff of the first team for any real length of time, if at all.

Hit the nail firmly on the head! Mills, Simms, Price, Branthwaite, Warrington & Cannon all should have had proper opportunities this season. Branthwaite was shipped off to PSV & maybe going to Bayern now. Given how bad the regular first team players have been I refuse to believe some of these younger players wouldn’t have done better with a decent coach.
