And 3 goals this season compared to 9 and 10 respectively from the other two.

Edit: not having a go at DCL in particular. Theres nobody around him supporting him or providing any quality into the box consistently. Docoure had a purple patch but his all round play is meh.
Even if DCL has 3 more goals this season I think those points would see us away from any danger... that is as much to down to the managers style of play as much as it is players missing chances.

I think Doucoure had a Purple patch as you said but now we are seeing the Doucoure Lampard was right about, now he got his 1 year contract extension!!!

Did anyone see the reaction by Doucoure after the 1st goal v Bournemouth, he gave the ball away, didn`t try and get back and just threw his hands in the air and had blames everyone else.

Doucoure is a top earner and I`d have let him walk instead of paying him over 100k a week we can not afford, technically we have better.

He made a very bold statement coming back from our 3 week break and luxury training holiday with the team, saying everything's been fine, (our previous form), we've been playing well and its just a case of sticking at it.
Great, if we'd beaten bournemouth you might have said yeah well ok maybe hes right.
But by putting in another horrific performance, all eyes go back on him.
Its like "sean, just how many consecutive draws or defeats does it take for you to admit everything is NOT all bloody right!!"

Just lucky that the dope who owns the club has checked out, is only so much you can give him with the mess the club is in. The results speak for themselves

Also lucky that we lurch from crisis to crisis so he can keep talking about the noise rather than the fact that his record is utter wham

Christ alive.

I've been a huge supporter of Dyche but his negative style is probably one of the (many) reasons for the toxic negativity round the place at the moment.

And in the past it's always gained results - but this time it doesn't seem to.

I am coming round to the idea that it's not working and a change might be needed.

I reckon he'll be given the next two, but if we don't beat Burnley then a change - even if it is a shot in the dark - is required. We can't keep going on like this. I have a lot of sympathy for Dyche: never has an Everton manager had to endure as much. But we have played some fairly average sides in this 12-match winless run (West Ham, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Brighton) and come up short every time. Our future depends on beating Burnley, Forest, Luton, and Sheffield United. I have no confidence at all that this manager and these players will win even two of those games.

In reality, the real issues are way beyond Dyche and these players. And the club will sit on its hands, in all likelihood. But if we can't beat Burnley, then who exactly are we going to beat to stay up? And given the inevitability of another points deduction, we really do have to beat all four of those sides below us. I can't see it with Dyche. Truth be told, I can't see it with somebody else either, because the true mismanagement of the club is evident in the team we put on the pitch, and those players are Championship players bar the goalkeeper and young centre-half.

Without points deductions, we'd be 14th and that's the only way you can judge him. My argument until very recently was that people were expecting too much of a squad which has scraped out of a relegation fight at the death for two successive years. That argument, based on our recent run of form, is beginning to wear a little thin, I'd have to accept. We are probably now just about the point where what we've delivered this season is acceptable based on what came before. However, the margins are now pretty narrow - unless we start picking up points immediately he's probably going to fall below the line for what I'd have deemed a reasonable return this season.
I think the teams below us are probably going down, and although I have backed him, there is a point that if we don’t hit some form
He will prob go at the end of the season. My guess is that until ownership changes there is no other changes happening here.

😂 🤣 😂
