Didnt he play Simms and has used Dobbin ?

I think weve seen Branthwaite slot in and stay there + McNeil he promoted at Burnley.

The current situation is odd though. Not using Patterson or Dobbin instead of underperforming players.

I guess we'll see next season as i dont think he'll be sacked till the new stadium is completed.
He hasn’t played dobbin really and he didn’t really play Simms. I think he will be gone this summer, why keep ?? Especially if we sell Onana and Branthwaite and others. I don’t want him having an influence on signing players like Harrison

Garner was hardly near the team before he arrived either.

Hes given more young lads a shot then any manager in beards.

He was injured.

He's given the only players we have gametime while still managing to shoehorn favourites before them. Such a manager.

He’d recovered long before Lampard got the boot and was bit part, cameoing.

Blues know the team mate, they know the young lads who’ve been given a shot and brought through.

https://www.transfermarkt.com/james...verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=GB1&pos=&trainer_id= very easy to disprove but you od you.

The "young lads" are the only lads we have and we still play Gana, Young, etc. more than we should.

It is, he was not in squads, bit part and Dyche gave his first start and then made him a starter, thanks for posting. ;)

So we have, Branthwaite, Garner, Dobbin, Simms, to the first team squad while Welch, MacAllister Onyango and Virgina have had mins.

Dude is hardly even here a year.

He was not available between November and early April due to a stress fracture in his back.
I think his last game before injury was the League Cup debacle at Bournemouth under Lampard.
He was not brought back into the fold by Dyche because he was overlooked by Lampard but because he was not fit enough to play.

"have had mins" lol

We deserve the crap Dyche serves up with this line of thinking. Here's to 5 more months with no win

"Hardly a year" is also a good cope by the by.

Weird that he played in March then.

It’s as I said and the link posted above proves it, he wasn’t in squads, bit parting and cameoing when fit (I know he had a back injury), until Dyche arrived, gave the lad his first 90 mins, and a shot and he nailed a spot himself, hasn’t looked back really.

Theres a lot to be said for mcneil and harrison being so crap for a while now..firstly they are asked/expected to do as much defending as attacking. The tactics of not really having overlapping fullbacks means they gotta go it alone. The lack of doing anything centrally means we just slowly play it out to the wings and expect some magic to happen but opposition clearly know this and gang up on us.
Then he doesnt trust dobbin or danjouma to spice it up a bit with more pace.
He doesnt trust patterson and instead plays centre back goddfrey or the ageing young/coleman first.
Branthwaite got his chance just because our other options were so bad at the time and his class has come through, but im not sure he'd have been given the same chance had we had even average defenders in place.
Hes not all bad (dyche) but he has failings in my opinion.

It’s actually really important and not that funny to be honest mate.

I’ve made a conscious decision not to beef for the next 7, the club needs backing and that’s were my focus is going. All that matters is the next 7.

I wont be stoking division. It’s to important.

But it’s comically ridiculous in here, it’s gives me a good chuckle, keep her lit for me, I’ll be back in the summer! lol

Weird even by the usual standards.

We've given youth players 56 minutes this year also just so that it's on record.

21/22/23 year olds should be playing regularly, not being unused because of Ashley Young.

As i said the other day, i think Dyche needs to live in the bottom feeders category just because of his huge limitations tactically.
Hes a younger sam allardyce who seems to thrive on firefighting struggling teams.
Built a reputation on being tough to break down, generally defensively sound but absolutely zero ability at the other end of the pitch.

That gets you mid table.
You say it like it's common for many managers to achieve I. E hard to beat, good defensive.

I think it’s quite sad that the very players in our youth and academy set ups, who Dyche Walker told the world, very publicly, were all crap, will probably be the ones we need to rely on to stabilise us over the next couple of years.

Not sure how that’s gonna play out with Dyche.

I wouldn’t want to play for him If I was those lads, would you, that’s even if they can get near the first team with Dyche.

We will prob extend Coleman and Youngs contracts and go and sign more pensioners if Dyche is in anyway involved - joyous times toffees!
I don't think Coleman will extend his deal, especially if we stay up. I think he'll bow out with pride..
