When he is sacked, whenever that is, I hope we don’t end up with someone like Potter or Bielsa or anyone else who has been sacked as a PL manager. If they’ve been sacked before the way we are at the moment we’ll definitely give them another good sacking anyway so it’s just a waste of time and money.

I couldn't see properly from where I was the late offside VAR goal which would have won us the game. Seeing as the VAR idiots took maybe 3 to 4 minutes to decide it, was it very close either way?

Pretty much all PL managers have been sacked. What you're saying is you don't want a manager with PL experience?

I agree with a lot of what you’ve posted. But in my opinion the tactics coming from this manager, in particular the defensive shape without the ball has contributed to the goals conceded, ie the midfield pressing high and the defence, back 4 being so narrow, especially at Villa park. Also the marking at corners against Villa was very strange, leaving players unmarked at the edge of the box, repeatedly. I think everyone knows that there are a number of players missing through injury and the squad is thin/threadbare and I’d think that the majority of fans understand that the manager can’t put out a well balanced, first choice starting 11, with no players playing out of position etc. So I think there was leeway for the team to be more compact, no need for the high press, especially away from home. Let the C/F and Doucoure press the opposition backline until they get into Everton’s half. That wouldn’t been my approach. But Dyche choose to be more open, which, at home is understandable to an extent. With hindsight, the wrong choice though.

I do sometimes wonder if he would play more conservatively if he wasn't here. I think he thinks we're a big club and fans wont settle for pragmatic ball just to get a point, they want to see their team attack - that and he will be aware he fits the Big Sam rep stereotype. Curious.

you gotta have the players to attack lol

he’s a slight upgrade on FS to me

Ifs its any consolation we reached rock bottom with The Fat kopite, we then improved slightly with Tory Frank and improved again with Brexit Sean.

So at least the next fella should be better.

With any luck we can get back to Fat Sam levels within a manager or 2.

He won’t be sacked, and we won’t be relegated.
