Listen here. Just because I have a positive mental attitude and a different view to most over this it doesn't mean anything other than that. This is my 60th year as an Evertonian and I've seen a lot of managers come and go. I was confident we'd come back against Wimbledon when losing, even with Mike Walker as manager, because there is something about the fans at Goodison that makes the players fight to the very end, like Crystal Palace and Bournemouth. I don't want Dyche to be the manager in charge when we move into the new stadium but I think he will keep us in the Premier League until we do. I've never knee-jerked early in the season and that includes when we've started well. Bed-wet as much as you like but my sheets will always be dry.
I’m just disappointed Newcastle weren’t included in the screen shot as they are on three points as wellRocketing up the table
Well I can't agree with an absolute like that.Sacking the manager will make absolutely no difference while Moshiri and Bill remain in charge. Especially when they would be picking a replacement.
I'm not a Dyche fan. But I dont support sacking him while owner and chairman continue to run the club into the ground. Just like I didnt support sacking Lampard last year either.
The real problems rest far above the manager.
That would be richly deserved for the board. There will eventually come a season when we will take too long.
I guess the question is who would we replace him with (exc Bainsey) - who could deal with a sub par defence, and an absolutely overrated Midfielder in Onana and get us playing effective football.(not saying it can’t be done btw, Dyche has disappointed me)Anyway, im not spending the next 2 weeks saying we should sack him, we should have sacked him in May.
On to the next game, we should have some better options for the manager with some injured players returning, its up to him to tackle the next games, a very tough game v Arsenal awaits us next.
All I want is for the decision not to be made with a day left of the January window.Would have preferred to
go into the international break with a win in the league, but I'll take an away point. Last two unbeaten, couple of new faces in and hopefully Dom and McNeil fully fit and available soon. Let's hope Dyche can build on it.
As @Eggs keeps saying, let's see where we are after 10 games.
I'd just take enough hard fought points from turd displays to not have to go through it all yet again. All I want is for the decision not to be made with a day left of the January window.
We are intergalactically bad at timing manager changes.
A pretty impossible question for me to answer.I guess the question is who would we replace him with (exc Bainsey) - who could deal with a sub par defence, and an absolutely overrated Midfielder in Onana and get us playing effective football.(not saying it can’t be done btw, Dyche has disappointed me)
I don't know if you were actually at the game but I don't believe there was anybody in the ground who believed we would come back from 2 nil down against Wimbledon.Listen here. I'd rather he didn't keep bringing up the idea we had positive performances in 2 games we lost at home to awful sides. What exactly do you want him to say after those results? He's the one managing a group of young men with frame confidence and you're on a forum. So easy to say what you've said, but if you were in that position, you'd be saying the exact same as him.
