Do you think we had any right whatsoever to be even close to European spots?

On our net spend of nothing and spending 2-3 years with no transfers, before that - having to sell our best player for next to nothing to keep afloat and buying players from the Championship or for as little as possible?

You genuinely believe it's because of that, and not because of Moyes. Doesn't matter what name the team had or how "big" you perceive either to be - Moyes performed more or less a miracle for next to nothing, as it was what he was hired for, Dyche is a nomark who's an expert in being relegated and eating worms.
He is not an expert in anything imo, the gravylord is a relegation specialist as he has done it at multiple clubs, whereas Dyche hasn't yet gets the 'specialist' label, not for me.

No he does play long ball football, we played different under lampard. There’s a clip v Doncaster of him pointing forward and screaming at Pickford to launch it. If you think he doesn’t play long ball football, then I’m not sure what you’re watching. Yes we play counter attacking if you want to call it that. But his main tactic is get it forward quickly
Its not though, not with us, when dont play long ball at all. As I said we fanny around for ages before losing the ball as soon as we cross the half way line.

We may do now we have Beto of course but we are hardly 80s Wimbledon.

@Lobworm missing the point 101. Not missing any point, it's just opinions.
We should've been safer earlier last year if Dyche was a good manager, he's not. We had 15 points on Feb 1st, when do you think we should have realistically expected to be safe, with our squad which didn't have a half decent forward?

He should be getting more out of this team, he's not. A team that nearly went down two years running, maybe, maybe not.

He's a poor manager both ingame and tactically. What should he be doing to change the game, ingame? What tactics should he employ?

He will take us to relegation safely and soundly if he doesn't change his ways. Hope he does, doubt it. So it goes. Like he took us to relegation last year? We'll see.

We did it vs. Doncaster, we did it last season from the start against most teams, we did it when Doucoure was out - it was hilarious watching us lump hoof after hoof for Neal "10 foot tall" Maupay of all people. Fave moment was Iwobi receiving it out wide around the halfway line and dinking a long ball for Maupay for about 20 minutes lol was great, our/his pass% was surprisingly low that day too for some reason. Not even a slight aimed at him, it was clearly the way we "set up" to play too.

We're playing much more direct than with other managers but Seanny boy has favourites that HAVE to play who are also coincidentally absolute donkeys like Doucoure, because you know he runs around a bit lol

Said it before and I'll do so again - the second Doucoure is injured/out for some reason we're 100% resorting to bypassing the midfield even more.
No we didnt do it against Doncaster or last season!

Its tedious and boring (though slightly less boring than under Lampard in my opinion) but it's not long ball.

Who are we supposed to play instead of Doucoure? (Who I don't rate at all by the way)

This is entirely wrong for anyone who's seen us play.
Its tedious, boring rubbish. But its not long ball.

Its a big load of nothing. Has been for years.
Sadly Duals I have to agree with Shango, at times Dyche has gone a bit hoof, but you know, sometimes you gotta ping a few, on the main tho I think his teams have tried to play football with us.

Typical that ive now gone from being slightly concerned about the attack to the defence. The fullbacks dont look strong. I can live with tarkowski/branthwaite. Have no choice though as the options are keane and Godfrey. Ive completely given up on Godfrey. He just can defend. Letting mina and coady go and replacing them with nobody will end up being a terrible decision.

I think he should find the balance of team during the game asap. Except the Villa match, the other 3 games, we cant concentrate until the end. It is because the player is exhausted…Dyche should play more defence and lower the denfence line. It can make the team to last more stable.
