Off the clubs website with no context... Almost as if they want us to think everything is hunky doory.

More propaganda from the club than North Korea these days.

Losing 5 on the spin at home should mean he doesn't get into the changing rooms without being sacked.

To give perspective - last season, in January we lost four on the spin at home for the first time in the league since 1958 but that was sandwiched between the world cup. That led to Lampards sacking.

Bournemouth, yet to win a game...

I'm desperate for us to win, and then dont look back as we secure a magnificent 14th place to continue circling the drain until hopefully the stadium/settled ownership.

If we get beat on Saturday, then we absolutely "need to change the story" with the manager.

Can safely say, whilst some performances have been decent and therefore an ‘xG win’, I haven’t come away from a game this season thinking we were unlucky.

Unlucky is when you’re peppering the goal whilst the ball somehow stays out through goalkeeper heroics/bad refereeing etc., whilst looking solid defensively and only conceding to freak goals. If that’s the case, you can use the xG excuse with SOME credibility. Frankly I feel like the points we are on is exactly what is deserved, through toothless striking, and haphazard/disorganised defending.

If the opposition has an xG of 0.5, but we continuously concede 2, it’s not because of luck, it’s because half chances for them are ending up in the back of the net because we’re crap at defending.
Would definitely say the Fulham game was unlucky, we battered them and was some bad misses but also some great saves from Leno who played like prime Schmicheal. Fulham have looked terrible in every game that I have seen them this season though and are lucky to be on 8 points.

Remember when we had standards and used to post things like winning cups

Now it’s “oh look we’ve had loads of shots, more than we’ve had in 10 years”

That’s what we’ve become; awful ownership with an awful manager, both trying to spin a narrative

We had a plaque on the wall in Everton Two about how we had the fastest FA Cup final goal. A game we lost.

OK guys, after the Bournmouth match these are our next home league games which will take us through to the middle of February;
Brighton
Man U
Newcastle
Chelsea
Man City
Villa
Spurs

Anyone think that we'll be above the bottom 3 after that lot?

Highlights how Dyche and the players have let us down when playing the 'easier' teams.

And there it is!

Spot on mate, look at what we celebrate now its pathetic and quite frankly disrespectful to our fan base who many travel the length and breadth of the country to watch us home and away.

I feel sorry for some of our fan base who have never seen us win anything apart from a game of football and even that's becoming few and far between.

I would assume our xG is reduced in those matches...

We'll be in the bottom three. Our opportunity to accumulate points against the bottom half of the table (which we are firmly entrenched in, obviously) ends this Saturday. We've wasted that opportunity by not having a striker at the beginning of the season, and then just plain incompetence this past weekend.

Ye so lets give Dyche the time to negate us through that run of fixtures.

Soon as i saw the fixtures at the start of the season i thought we'll bank enough points in the first 10 games to be ok ish.
What an idiot i am.
Never learn.

Someone start a petition so that the PL ignore actual points and base the league on xG this year.

Currently only a point behind Liverpool.

It would be interesting to see the comparable league table comparison over the last couple of seasons.

Disruptive to a club that really, really can't afford to keep sacking managers.

I understand there is a point you have to sack, and realistically it's hard to see a way back for him if we don't win on Saturday.

I back Dyche to turn it around. But that's purely based on my own opinion and understand the reasons why people think he'll never turn us around.

The issue i see with this is that he doesnt seem to learn from his mistakes, aside from dropping Keane.

You do realise that the overwhelming fans favourite for Dyche's replacement (Potterball) had the exact same defence at Brighton when his side would have about 50 shots at goal every game and only score 1 ?

Its easy to shout "sack der manager" but who's coming in ? who's paying Dyche off ? who would work under a wantaway owner / crooks in 777 ?

Potter got Brighton 9th with maupay playing over 30 prem games. Remember him, apparently he’s not a proper striker

He had the likes of Wellbeck and Maupay and the chances were clearly a lot better than shots from the edge or outside of the box.

Also his set piece and defensive system worked well with players adapting quickly and seamlessly into his structure.

Meanwhile we have the superior players on paper so in theory he should be able to instill structure into our team while playing expansive and progressively.

Id have him in a second.

Fulham coasted through the second half and finished the game having had 60% of the ball.

Brentford has been the only really decent league performance, and even that took the ref intervening to stop them scoring an open goal.

Yeah but remember, Lampard had all the easy games, and Dyche has only had tough games since he started….
