If Rangers don’t hire a manager before Saturday, I fully expect Dyche to go there once we lose to Bournemouth.

Make that 10 nowI try and enjoy every win now as sadly its rare for Everton. I posted on here before a ball was kicked this season i was glad Dyche was here as the club are an absolute mess and he's at least a steady eddie. 1 point from 15 isnt and wasnt acceptable in anyones book. Dont care who you are you cant not question 1 point from 15. The pressure is off with the Brentford win. But will be back if we dont get minimum a win and draw at home to luton and Bournemouth. He has a squad available now to string a few results together. Resuts against teams who are our rivals in the bottom half of the table. I dont have great expectations with Dyche and we've already pissed away 6 or 7 points this season. The next two games at home are Dyche levels.
Potter got Brighton 9th with maupay playing over 30 prem games. Remember him, apparently he’s not a proper striker
Not a chance he’s gone before Christmas. If Rangers don’t hire a manager before Saturday, I fully expect Dyche to go there once we lose to Bournemouth.
We'll be in the Championship next season so 9th is a real possibilityTrue but the season prior he got Brighton 16th in which his situation was the exact same as Dyche is currently - high xG but not getting the results.
Brighton kept faith in the manager then the following season got 9th. Whats to say keeping faith in Dyche wont yield a similar scenario next season ?
Quality over quantityCan safely say, whilst some performances have been decent and therefore an ‘xG win’, I haven’t come away from a game this season thinking we were unlucky.
Unlucky is when you’re peppering the goal whilst the ball somehow stays out through goalkeeper heroics/bad refereeing etc., whilst looking solid defensively and only conceding to freak goals. If that’s the case, you can use the xG excuse with SOME credibility. Frankly I feel like the points we are on is exactly what is deserved, through toothless striking, and haphazard/disorganised defending.
If the opposition has an xG of 0.5, but we continuously concede 2, it’s not because of luck, it’s because half chances for them are ending up in the back of the net because we’re crap at defending.
Just to point out that the season they finished 16th, they scored 39. The season they finished 9th, they scored 42. They didn’t even get much better defensively, as they went from conceding 46 to 44.True but the season prior he got Brighton 16th in which his situation was the exact same as Dyche is currently - high xG but not getting the results.

Probably not , but lose against Bournemouth and get battered against the RS , his position will become untenable. Not a chance he’s gone before Christmas.
I disagree with XG full stop but I get the premise of it but xg and Actual Goals are very very different, the table tells me the story i need, nothing else. It's a helpful metric that alone is meaningless. You need to take the context of the game into account.
Everton's xG was good, but it largely came in the first half and a lot of that was the fact that our goal consisted of 3 high xG chances before it finally went in.
So it you look at in full context it tells you we made chances in the first half and were crap in the 2nd.
Would you disagree with that because it sounds like the game I watched live.

Do you really believe that. Houghton’s football at Brighton was horrendous,True but the season prior he got Brighton 16th in which his situation was the exact same as Dyche is currently - high xG but not getting the results.

Also let’s see what the XG is in another 6/7 games. As we’ve had a very favourable start in terms of oppositionTrue but the season prior he got Brighton 16th in which his situation was the exact same as Dyche is currently - high xG but not getting the results.
