There is only one thing i am interested in and that is this. Not even remotely close to being good enough. It is absolutely appalling.

Why automatically assume we would end up with ‘someone like Pulis ‘ ? ( and actually Dyche is ‘someone like Pulis ‘ anyway )
Why not entertain the possibility that we could attract a young manager like Schumacher for instance.
That’s the direction I would like to see us head in. At least it would give some sense of hope and progress for the future.
At the moment the whole club just seems moribund on and off the pitch.
Everton seem more irrelevant than we have ever been at the moment.
We'd probably end up with Michael Schumacher tbf.

I'm convinced GoT is just filled with kopites you know, some of these opinions are genuinely hilarious and stuff you hear red mates say all the time.

The issue remains the same chief - if Dyche is sacked who comes in ?

Moshiri wants out
777 are crooks

Which quality manager in their right mind will come here at present time ?

We sacked Benitez and got Lampard
We sacked Lampard and got Dyche

Sacking Dyche and ending up with a pedigree manager like Unai Emery is very unrealistic.

Truth be told we'll end up with someone like Tony Pulis or try entice Rooney to jump ship and come home.
Yep I'd be very critical of what Dyche is doing but wouldn't sack him unless there was the right man and players to come in this season, which seems very unlikely atm.
Don't think we'll get relegated bc incredibly there the are 5 teams as bad or worse than we are and we have Pickford, Braithwaite, Tarks, Onana, Garner and Dom.

One of the mains concerns with Dyche for me is being able to keep them at the end of the season. If your Dom for example, your thinking I'd be scoring 15-20 goals with other teams (not just the top ones). If your Braithwaite and you realise that the quality of your passing and vision amounts to nothing when you have the likes of Doucs, Gana and McNeil receiving and the insipidness of Dyche on field play. The temperament of your CBs should flow through to your other players. Braithwaite has got bucket loads of it but its not transfering through to some of em and its not set up to. Onana is really doing well considering the circumstances, it must make him question what the circumstances could be.

What happens before the start of next season scares me. If Dyche is still there it may tell us a lot about the fate of Everton.

This team needs quality in wide areas and AM and coach to play to win.
As it stands this team is not that far away from challenging for and in Europe again if....

Liverpool were garbage yesterday. In fact I would go as far to say there were there for the taking.
But we cannot pass water. The manger and coaches are meant to improve players. That’s not happening here. There’s no difference between his record and Lampard’s. 7 points out of 9 games and we’ve played the poorest teams. He’s not the manger for us but we are stuck with him unfortunately.
He’s too negative.
Top mangers would have been raving about the officials after the whistle but not him.
Also same issues on the counter that happened last season. Not addressed.

But was that also down to our tactics not giving them the spaces / opportunity to hurt us ? They had a few good counter attacks which shown they were a handful if given the opportunity.

I loathe the media who whenever we beat a top 6 side always go on about how poor they were rather than compliment our good performance.

Had that ref not took a bung yesterday we'll have left Anfield with at least a point imo. Its the same ref who sent Allan off against Newcastle so I would argue he may well be anti Everton.

Thats my only real criticism of Dyche yesterday - he should have gone bananas in his post match interview. That does potentially show that he isnt a "winner" like a Pep or Klopp but being realistic the clubs position isn't that of attracting a winner - its having a manager that keeps us in the land of milk and honey until our position improves / the stadium is built.

That record leaves us on 39 points over a season projected, and thats before you look at now having a full deck and team development for the rest of the season. Id be fairly confident that keeps us up comfortably, which is the realistic objective after the last couple of years and the club being a skip fire- mine anyway.

That record is misleading as it incudes data from last season, the ppg this season is 0.77 so far which would leave us on 29 points over a 38 game season

Because its very relevant mate unless you want someone like Pulis in the dugout. We're a poisoned chalice and truth be told are fortunate to have Dyche keeping us in the league until the clubs situation improves.
Mate!! We have got Pulis in the dugout! We have a younger version of him.

This football club, one of the giants of the English game should never ever be happy to have someone like Dyche at the club.
I suppose thats the Kenwright effect though.

Keeping us in this league this season should be possible for me and you to do due to the garbage thats in it, lets not be fooled by Dyche keeping us in this league as an achievement. An acheivement would be to pull us far away from danger, anything less and he is doing the same as the managers we have previously fired.

I said performance if you read what I wrote. Also if you go back to 1st March Everton have played 25 matches. 10 at Home 15 away scoring 9 and 22 respectively so home goals PG is 0.9 and away goals PG is 1.46667. And conceded is 15 and 17 respectively so home goals conceded Pg is 1.5 and away goals conceded Pg is 1.1333.

So yes Everton are no question better away from home Mike.
So Pi = 3.14159?

Hang on, what? It’s the land of milk and honey now? Because you’ve spent the past god knows how many years saying you don’t care which division we make up the numbers in and the Premier League is a corrupt farce that you’d prefer not to be part of anyway.
Why now suddenly are you happy to scrape 17th every year to stay in a league that you clearly hate being a part of?

How low we have fallen when scraping through by the skin of our teeth is seen as realistic and acceptable. Sorry mate but barely scraping through a season is absolutely disgraceful and will never be acceptable to me. Most decent managers would be able to to get this team to mid table in a season and even though that is still not acceptable, it would be realistic and expected.

So sad to be a blue now.
