2023/24 Sean Dyche

Sean Dyche operates in the bottom half of premier league/championship that’s what he is!

Modern day Allardyce.

I want to someone to come into this club and get rid of our ‘big number 9’ tradition! Unfortunately that’s prime Dyche.

He’s not even a modern day Allardyce. Allardyce once had a track record of being a relegation battle firefighter.

Everton manager Sean Dyche speaking to Sky Sports: "Miles off, they were better in all departments. Overall, the sharpness, the edge that's important in a performance, particularly scoring goals, them driving in the box, looking more alive than we were defensively. A strange one because we were really on it last weekend and that's what it's got to be, finding consistency. That was badly lacking today.

"Sometimes that's life as a manager. You look at it, you train well, you organise and have a collective down day which was today. You can't wait for someone else to correct it. I've just spoken to the players about that, Everyone's got to make a difference."

"It's been a bit like that - good one week, miles off the next week. We've got to find consistency. No excuses today, they were miles better than us

It’ll never happen mate

We’re 6 years into looking for a big number 9 to hold the ball up

Not change the system or how we play

No, go with what we know

Why is there so much positivity about last week?

We lost at home to an asbolutely shocking team. What a terrible mentality from Dyche. You'd think we'd won 4 nil from his comments.

Let's face it we've long since been left behind tactically in this league now. Most teams in the league have defenders comfortable on the ball, technical players, a lot of pace, athletes all over the pitch and press high. We still have a dogs of war mid-90s mentality. Play for set pieces and whack it up to the big man.

We tend to get results when we want it more than the opponent on the day. Ultimately the last day of the season as an example, the Arsenal win or Brighton away. But we raise our game once in a while, we can't produce that Arsenal or Brighton performance consistently.

"Really on it" after a 1-0 home defeat against Fulham lol

Doing himself no favours whatsoever.

However, when our DoF asked him what we needed this summer to fix last year mess, did he really say ‘a geriatric full back, a teenager built like a string bean, and 2 guys that tried their best to not be here’?
No but I doubt Bill had told him he would be using Jenny's piggybank for the budget.

Whilst I agree with your sentiment in our current position we owe Dyche a lot. Lampard and his cult following had us on a one way journey to the championship and he steered us to safety with no CF on the pitch and no business done in January.

2 games in and some want him sacked - its no wonder we have a reputation as a crisis club when we turn on the manager/players so quickly.
People like you who hounded the manager out to cover for the board are getting exactly what you deserve now.

You only have to look at the standard of candidates when we have interviewed for a new manager
There is plenty out there but Everton look at PREMIER LEAGUE EXPERIENCE as the biggest thing....

Managers never managed in the PL before their current job....

Mikel Arteta
Andoni Iraola
Thomas Frank
Roberto De Zerbi
Vincent Kompany
Jurgen Klopp
Pep Guardiola
Erik Ten Hag
Steve Cooper
Ange Postecoglou

Yet Everton place so much importance on PL exeprience, same with players, I could list 100 good PL players that have never played in the PL before yet we get the ones that have and are 5h17e.....

Should have fcked them off and let them make their own way home. Right from the start they just didnt fancy it. Far to many at this club who are like that. Terrible attitude of i'll just do enough sometimes.
Even by todays pampered players standards they're an embarrassment.

Not me mate - I warned everyone when they were demanding Benitez be sacked so they could get Tory boy in to waste money on players like Dele and Maupay how it would play out. Benitez had the worst injury crisis to contend with and a £1.7m summer kitty yet has a better win % than both Lampard AND Dyche.

As usual FB92 was right.
