What really surprises me is the lack of organisation in the defence, I don't know what they work on in training, but, it certainly isn't working. It was also interesting that. in only the second game of the season, there just seems to be a lack of urgency and desire throughout the team. It's as if they just don't understand what the training staff are asking them to do, perhaps the Ginger Louis Armstrong and his assistants are asking them questions which they don't have the answers to.

Keane is very poor, but, seems to be teachers pet and therefore undroppable. Doucoure is not capable of playing as a creative midfielder, he does have value as a box to box player, but, number 10? Onana is being wasted playing him as anything other than defensive midfielder and what on earth he thought he was doing bringing Oneyango on for the last few minutes of a disaster area I do not know, it was hardly going to give him any confidence though was it.

In conclusion, I don't believe Dyche is blameless here, he is not the main problem, but, he is a problem. He may keep us up, but, it won't be pretty, I don't think he is capable of building anything. What really surprised me today though were the lack of fight and the lack of organisation, the two things we are led to believe that Dyche teams are about.
What would he have said to Oneyango? 97 mins gone. Never touched the ball. Not only pointless but when he doesn't play him again for a month what is he expecting from him next time.

Nowhere near the money Fat man wasted on Patterson and Mykolenko who are both shocking. Fact is Dyche, Lampard, and Benitez are not who any blue wants in charge, they're all bang average managers. Also EVERY Everton manager has an injury crisis, it's part of the job!!

Both of those were lined up by Brands prior to him leaving the club. I do think its harsh to label Patterson "shocking" the lads still developing although for me he needs a loan move to the championship to learn his trade.

My point was - since Benitez and the infamous summer of £1.7m spend we've spent more money and gone backwards which myself and a few others like @Saint Domingo warned people about yet it was easy for us to be labelled as happy clappers.

You dont sack a manager unless there are better replacements out there to come in and replace the man who's leaving. We sacked Benitez and had that problem and we'll have the same problem if we chase Dyche out the door prematurely.

If the club had dough / was going places then then by all means go get on the blower to Mancini but he aint coming ere in our current situation.

Everton manager Sean Dyche speaking to Sky Sports: "Miles off, they were better in all departments. Overall, the sharpness, the edge that's important in a performance, particularly scoring goals, them driving in the box, looking more alive than we were defensively. A strange one because we were really on it last weekend and that's what it's got to be, finding consistency. That was badly lacking today.

"Sometimes that's life as a manager. You look at it, you train well, you organise and have a collective down day which was today. You can't wait for someone else to correct it. I've just spoken to the players about that, Everyone's got to make a difference."

"It's been a bit like that - good one week, miles off the next week. We've got to find consistency. No excuses today, they were miles better than us
Doesn't sound like defeat hurts him enough and if that is passed on to these players we really are in trouble.
Dyche has operated in the lower part of the division all his career an area where to win one match in 3 is acceptable that's not Everton or shouldn't be.
I don't know if anybody else has watched the mission to Burnley documentary?
Basically the owners brought in Kompany which was a huge gamble and it paid off in spades. He completely changed the mindset of the club, There supporters were able to watch football they had never dreamed of.
Where are the visionaries at our club ?we haven't got any as they are/were far to busy patting each other on the back telling each other what a great job they are doing.
I am not saying we sack Dyche but if we are in the bottom 3 at Christmas I definitely would.

Ridiculous to be talking about changing managers after 2 games.
Not when he started Maupay then starts Keane both games with Branthwaite available.

Dyche done his job keeping us up. He is a very limited manager. Thank you goodbye. Potter should be given the job now before the window shuts.

When is the time to sack Dyche? If he loses the next 3 probably already be down, Leicester lost 6 on the bounce and never recovered.

The guys pre season was crap his tactics are crap. We keep sacking mangers and bringing worse in. Silva is a better manger. Rafael nearly killed the club. Lampard was a joke. Potter is a top manager go get him.
