While possession doesn’t win you games, you can’t say 20% possession at home beats anyone that’s poor.FWIW that display today beats Man. United who are terrible currently so yes important to see the bigger picture and it's been a very positive October.
My take on Dyche footy- he is calculated. He is by no means boring, but he will concede possession in situations like today where we were obviously a little leggy.
We tend to (not every game) be VERY direct (not necessarily in a hoofball sense) but we try to transition quickly. As a result he takes a lot of risks on the ball as opposed to sitting on it which is why our possession doesn’t always match our shots/SOT. He plays purposeful footy. I like that. It’s not always perfect or effective but we haven’t looked this exciting in the attack since Bobby Mr. 72 Martinez. I’ll take it.
Dont think danjuma would have helped tbh, doucoure does do alot of pressing ect for the team same with the wingers. Needed depth in this team but i just didnt really see much maybe patterson on earlierHis game plan was fine, and yeah, he’s dealing with a tough hand for the squad but I’d like to see a creative sub/change at times
Take Doucoure off, bring Danjuma on
I’d of took a point but can’t disagree with what you’re saying. Not for me mate.
I mean, we've got to win some games at home. We've got to start some games at home with us going to win the bloody thing and win it well.
Dread to think for us to be relying on away games.
3 wins in 11 games.
1 home league win in 5 before today - Fulham, Wolves, Luton, Arsenal, Bournemouth.
Now 1 home league win in 6 - against very modest opposition.
Dyche is getting it wrong at home.
That game was crying out for fresh legs and it's not the only game.No it doesn't. Obviously the team that is losing is going to make more changes, because their plan isn't working and the winning team's plan is working.
Yes points are good, it’s more the style and how long term it will eventually get dyche sacked. Imagine watching Brighton every week instead of watching what we’ve watched today4points in a week in 2 tough games and in a Q/F, i would say that has been a good week, many may have thought we may get none
Agree i hope that we have seen things changing now, we have another tough game against palace away then united at home when again i would be looking for 4 pointsNot for me mate.

Danjuma should have come on for Doucoure.…a huge risk bringing on Danjuma for Harrison who was doubling up with Young to cover their threat. Danjuma would’ve been watching the game from the pitch rather than the bench.
Its all good and well making substitutions but you can’t throw away what you’ve worked so hard for.
Yet that's what we ended up doing. But a point is good as Brighton are no mugs, it's just a shame we couldn't hold on to the lead.…a huge risk bringing on Danjuma for Harrison who was doubling up with Young to cover their threat. Dont think danjuma would help he wouldnt keep to the defensive shape. I do hope we can get more players in and we can see dyche using the bench moreThat game was crying out for fresh legs and it's not the only game.
It was crying out for an out ball for the likes of Beto & Danjuma to relieve the pressure.
It's like we don't have a bench.
Problem is, we don't really have much on our bench.
Drop off from the first team is something that needs to be addressed in the transfer window

So you’re not allowed to make changes when you’re winning. Do pep and Klopp know this. If your one tactic is not trying to conceade, then he’s not likely to make many changes. Burnley fans moaned about his subs for years. But If you’re a manager that wants to go and kill the game, when you’re already in front, then you make changes.I was thinking along the lines of replacing Young with Patterson around the 60 to 65 minute mark then maybe Harrison with Danjuma a bit later on, rather than waiting until the 90th minute to make a change. Mind you, Sean Dyche could've made those early changes and we end up getting beat, then fans would be asking why he made changes when we were winning etc.
