Table is wrong. We’re on 26. UTFT

I think he’s doing a great job overall. Can he take us towards challenging for honours? I’m not sure, but for where we are and the situation we’re in (off the pitch in particular) I think he’s doing well.

Also this post is written under the influence of 10 San Miguel. May delete tomorrow with beer fear
Did not have 10 points stolen from us in '22.

Big game at Wolves now. Improvement is clear to see, but our good run of results has degenerated into a good run of unrewarded performances. I’m hopeful for the Wolves game, but next three are critical. We need points, not plaudits. I think we’ll be fine, but could do without dropping back into the relegation zone for morale reasons.

Never really expected to get anything from Spurs and City tbh but was hoping that Dyche would find a way to somehow get us a bit more than zero points. Been an utterly crap Xmas and the 7 point breathing space wiped out to 1 point and right back in the relegation fight again.

Hopefully he will get us on a bit of decent run again when we get a kinder run of fixtures. Xmas fixtures were brutal and we had no luck whatsoever.

Given the state of the club and it’s culture , which is a disgrace in itself if you are not part of the groovy gang , any manager would find it difficult.

I’m not too fussed either way on him, some things I like some things I don’t.

Best to just let him get on with job, it doesn’t help blowing smoke , sycophantic bragging when we pick up a few decent results. There is being happy and giving praise then there’s that none sense.

I remember some of you with the trolling with Benitez. Especially after that 1-1 draw at Chelsea. I think browsing Kopites were given a few pointers that night.

Let the fella do his job

Didn’t do much wrong there. Think most of us would have agreed that was the best starting 11 available. He was trying to make the subs to change the formation when city got the penalty, then a brain fart from Pickford ended hopes of snatching an equaliser. Far from a disastrous performance. As with the spurs game, promising that we still posed a threat and we’ll play worse this season and pick up points.

One of the problems I see is of his own making. When he needs to change a game he's bringing players on who've seen very little action. He'd be better if he got more minutes in the legs of the likes of Dobbin, Chermiti and Danjuma then when he brings them on they wouldn't be rusty but obviously his approach to use of subs doesn't allow this.
