My point is the manager makes a difference. Nothing to do with top 5. We need a changeOf course but we’re not attracting a top 5 manager in the world at this point.
The concerning thing Dave is the team has only been competitive for 20 of the first 180 minutes. His job is to keep Everton in the PL, not go and play silky football down at WHL.
He’s judged on games versus Bourmenmouth, Ipswich, Wolves, Brentford, Palace etc.
He kept us up in a season when most thought it impossible with 8 points deducted. The pressure on this club last season was off the charts.
Yes we have a fight on our hands but give me Dyche over Potter or some other name pulled me out of the air.
Very few managers will lose 3-0 and the only change they make for the next match is forced.
Given the state of the club's ownership, you'd EXPECT records to be broken in what is a modern nadir for Everton.Sean Dyche breaking yet more the most turgid records in our hostory.....
The guy is way way way out of his depth.
I know. It’s been dire. The concerning thing Dave is the team has only been competitive for 20 of the first 180 minutes.
"First home game, they had that energy and that exuberance"
So why didn't we last week, Sean?
These are the more important games surely. These are the must wins then. His job is to keep Everton in the PL, not go and play silky football down at WHL.

I feel sorry for the lad because he's presumably under instructions not to begin each interview with "Sean, you utter tit....:"The interviewer has a sorry job of putting a positive spin on the opening two games. North Korea levels of spin.
