2024/25 Sean Dyche

He could coach some actual football , play some players who can control the ball and have a modicum of football intelligence.
That’s all I’m asking , I’m not expecting him to turn us into Man City , I would just like a team that was prepared to compete in midfield to try and gain the initiative occasionally .
I’m bored to tears watched a team that surrenders that initiative constantly and spends most of the game huddled fearfully in their own half for 70% of the game. I would like to watch a team who could fashion a cogent attack that was varied and intelligent and wasn’t mostly based on Hoof !!
Is that too much to ask for ?
With this manager seemingly it is .
I would like my pessimism to be proven wrong this Saturday , but I fully accept I’m pursuing a false hope .
If we win, lose or draw I still want Dyche out, he still makes same errors again and again. His game play is entirely based on us scoring 1st, if other side gets 1st goal we are Donald Ducked. Other than City most teams are beatable now. I don't understand people giving up before a ball is even kicked, had we not got a sending off we would of got a draw at Anfield, a awful VAR decision cost us a point at Arsenal. I believe we should be aiming for a top half finish not 17th. I find it amazing that considering all the hate Allardyce got, he at least finished 8th. He proved if you can get a few wins in a row, you'll leap up table. We competed with clubs who spent far more than us under Moyes, when Chelsea and City were spending far more than they do now. It's shows how far we have fallen as a club and a fan base, that we accept Dyches nonsense.

Reckon he should bring back the suit? The tracks has not done him any favours recently

agree swap back you tramp
No, he should go for some suit/trackie hybrid combo, best of both Sean’s.

Just like a kid who’s shat themselves at school and has to go to the lost property bin for a set of the wrong size jogging bottoms, or go for footy shorts with a shirt, tie and suit Jacket.

Are you using Dyche’s performances away at Anfield and the Emirates as evidence that these teams are beatable, then using that evidence as a stick to beat Dyche with for not having a go against them?

We should be aiming for a top half finish not 17th. Without the points deduction we’d have been 12th last season, is that closer to 10th or 17th?

‘that we accept Dyche’s nonsense’

We’re in a very privileged position now where we can all write holier than thou posts about how we won’t tolerate the football aesthetic, his selections, his press conferences etc. Wasn’t that long ago we were begging, BEGGING, for someone to come in and save us from the drop.

It’s thanks to Dyche’s nonsense that there’s a premier league club left for everyone to moan about 24/7. You can all bid him good riddance this summer from your hipster high horses after he’s delivered a mid table finish, turned Branthwaite into a 70 mill pound defender, cut the wage bill, reduced the net spend, got rid of most of the dead wood from the squad, and left the club in an infinitely better position than when he found it.

Who on earth would want to come and play for this dinosaur
