Particularly after the first goal with 3 minutes left…Nah, couldn’t even do that.Pair up Tarkoski and Keane and we will concede.
Was other options with subs to go 5 at the back.

O’Brien for Harrison ‘75
Garner for Tim ‘75
Lindstrom for McNeil ‘75
Just a few ideas of glaringly obvious subs for you Sean.
Bloody ridiculous thing to say.Dyche "To dominate for that long and come out of it with nothing is incredibly frustrating... We're still playing one-twos and going for overlaps and I'm like 'Why? You don't need to. You're in control of the game'. "
What the hell?
"We're trying to play football and I'm like 'why?'"Dyche "To dominate for that long and come out of it with nothing is incredibly frustrating... We're still playing one-twos and going for overlaps and I'm like 'Why? You don't need to. You're in control of the game'. "

The wrong men came off and the wrong men went on Matty.
Moyes wouldn’t have lost that.
It’s exactly this, the cup game bounced Dyche into playing N’Diaye, it’s his instinct to go with Doucoure as the 3rd midfielder which doesn’t work and he couldn’t help himself, he could have went for like with like subs and keep the same system but he switched and put us on the retreatBecause our two ways to move the ball upfield were to feed N'Diaye and let him carry it or lump it up to DCL's head. With those two gone and the replacements having no ability to trap anything the traffic suddenly changed direction 100%
He could smell it but decided not to change anything. Sound.
Agreed. But I would say both the players AND the manager are clueless with how to defend a 2 nil lead with just a few minutes left. Maybe it's due to the fact that we rarely find ourselves in such a position?i’ve said he’s made the wrong subs
but them players threw it away
Conceding 10 goals in 3 games does not look like a good way to survive.

Oh that is an absolute scorcher of a quote if true.Dyche "To dominate for that long and come out of it with nothing is incredibly frustrating... We're still playing one-twos and going for overlaps and I'm like 'Why? You don't need to. You're in control of the game'. "

You're making a comment after the game has happened which makes me assume you're talking about the game that's just happened rather than overall. There are things to criticise today but not playing good football isn't one of them. You're taking a 1 game sample size and projecting it, every team has entertaining games even the bad boring ones.
The average Sean Dyche Everton performance looks exactly like it did at Burnley, there's no signs of any progression happening.
