2024/25 Sean Dyche

The idea of another manager change and the circus that goes with it, is not a valid reason to keep someone in charge that isn't getting results. We've had this before, too many times. Dyche "earned" the right to stay after the way we finished last season despite some terrible football, poor start, no wins, bottom (sound familiar), 3 wins at home by April and no wins from mid December to early April. Quite astonishing really. But hey ho. He carries on there's no one there to sack him anyway.

He also earned a lot of respect last season and after Lampard, the way he handled the off the field crap, and of course kept us up 2 years running. Fast losing it certainly for me, with the rubbish he's been coming out with.

The poor results the poor start can be overcome if obviously he starts picking up points. Though his management particularly last week leaves a lot to be desired. Very troubling.

It's alright. He'll win some in October, December and April. What are we all stressing about? 🤷‍♂️

December... 🤢

What the hell does he have to do to get sacked?? Surely Moshiri and all those with a huge financial interest can't just allow us to drift towards relegation. That would be catastrophic for their financial interest, and the club as a whole.

I think he got an ultimatum to deliver till Newcastle, if the club is on 1-3 points in total then, this will probably be his end then.

Can understand the point to avoid any sackings due to a dire financial situation, but there are sportive worries.

Is it just me who is looking at that December and not actually in the least bit intimidated? Yeah obviously Arsenal and City away are defeats, and probably the derby too even though we beat them last season. But Wolves, Forest and Chelsea at home are all games I expect results from.

Not sure about Chelsea, but Wolves and Forest are must wins at home for me.

We did take 9 points from the equivalent fixtures last season, and really should have beaten Wolves at home too. That obviously counts for nothing now but football isn’t played on paper.

The win vs Liverpool was nice however for me the Burnley game had much more importance, losing that game with the 2nd deduction the following week would have meant.

Burnley 19th 22p
Everton 18th 24p
Luton 17th 25p
Then Forest and Brentford were on 29 each.
