2024/25 Sean Dyche

Those flash in the pan managers scare me when associated with us, we need stability, I really hope Dyche brings that and then more, he's got some goodwill from me for the last couple of seasons but I'm not confident in him long term.
There’s definitely no more from dyche, I’ve heard someone say the 80mins v Bournemouth is the best we’ve played in 10yrs 🤣🤣🤣. The usual [Poor language removed] he serves up is clouding people’s judgement. I personally think he’s already on the way out, turning on the fans and players ends one way

100% mate. We are one bad decision from free fall IMO, reflecting back on Lampard really scares me, in hindsight we really were dead and buried.

I’d be a strong advocate for the reasons mentioned.

I do think there is a bit tension to the long term. Hes looked tired and frustrated to me the last couple of weeks, the job conditions have and at the moment are tough and he has had to go way beyond his remit at the club during his time here. I actually think he may look at it himself come the end of the season.

Personally I think he deserves another contract. But from a very objective point of view and as good practice the club should be looking at it now and doing a review of him and other managers and working on a mediam/long term vision and plan. Ultimately the institution should want the best person available in the job, that may be Dyche, it may not but it should be reviewed, the contract situation is a unique opportunity for that. We also have 12 players in contract at the start of next season - if you are going to commit to a rebuild or a change in a vision, that’s the strategic, logical time.

Imagine how different the tune would be if we didnt have the most epic collapse in premier league history last match. We would be in 14th with some very winnable games coming up, people would be talking about how that was an optimistic performance.

But epic record breaking collapses WILL do that to you. I suspect Dyche's job will fall on the next two matches and getting a win. If he does, he will be given the next few matches and they are all very winnable. If not I could see them terminating him.

Remember that, he was a bit of a headbanger, but a guru for a couple of months, Sun tan Phil!

Thinking of Bullard git me thinking of that funny story about Ray Parkour for England under Hoddle.

Hoddle brought in that faith healer weirdo Eileen Drury (think that was the name) and she was doing all these energy psychic reading on players, grabbing their head, when she did it with Parlour he said "short back and sides thanks love"... Hoodie never called him up again after it.
