2024/25 Sean Dyche

All managers are arrogant though.

He won't be "loved" by fans because he, like everyone else, hasn't won anything.

Moyes was loved because he rebuilt and made us competitive. But he even had a pop at the fans and eventually upset a lot when he went to United.

Martinez played some of the best football we've seen in decades. Was hated eventually.

Moyes wasn’t arrogant until he’d done anything of note, and he’s 10 times the manager Dyche will ever be

It is of course and much easier when it works for your club, the daily on pitch business is clearly his part.

But in the same time I ask myself, where have Moshiri, Chong or Thelwell for example been all the time to support the manager for the off pitch things. I understand him that he's fed up with that. I think all of us would be after a while.
Moshiri and Chong certainly acted quick enough when they realised somebody actually wanted to buy the club , they couldn’t distance themselves quickly enough , in stark contrast to the love in with the 777 gangsters 😀.
Dyche ,though , is very well recompensed for managing a club whose only aim is to avoid relegation ad infinitum. His wage is that of top half manager.
It is said that in adversity a persons true character is revealed and Sean’s has so far proved lacking .

Benitez?! Was a v good manager unfortunately with the other lot…
Mad that you think he's the worst manager you've seen manage Everton given he kept us up in 22/23 when we were down and out, and got 48 pts in a season with 2 pts deductions, a win over our neighbours for the first time in 14 years as well. I think you've just got recency bias tbh.

The manager conundrum shouldnt be a question of whether he’s ‘got the potential to turn this around’. We know his statistics, we know the last 3 games. Hes lost the fans. By far the worst Everton manager ive seen and I started out with Bingham…
Sorry he’s not as bad as Lampard. I like Lampard, I am apathetic to Dyche, but his results (as poor as they are) are not as bad as Franks.

Worse than Benitez and Lampard, right
I think it’s hard to quantify ‘worse ‘ on managers or players , it’s obviously subjective .
But I have been going the game since Catterick was our manager and I would unhesitatingly place Dyche in the worst manager category along with Walker , Allardyce , Lampard and Benitez.
Personally Dyche edges it out of those 4 for his utter inability to manage a game.

There's surely an air of mischeive making here first Carragher then Bascombe. We know their colours. If the "board" or "interim board" are so determined to stick with Dyche and believe he's the right man to lead us in to BM, (by the way would mean a contract extension), surely at some point they too should be shown the door?

Having said that I think it's more housekeeping rather than anything meaningful.

Worse than Benitez and Lampard, right

100 percent. He's the worst I've witnessed. I was around when we had Gordon Lee perhaps too young but I remember. We've had some really really poor stints from managers I'm going to include HK in that for his third spell. Mike Walker. Dyche is the worst manager I've ever seen manage us and the worst football. He's an absolute ....................
