2024/25 Sean Dyche

Just take my answers completely out of context. I said did we go in the bottom 3 on the bad run? I don’t think we did. We dropped into the bottom 3 after the points deduction and win 4 on the bounce and got back out.

Think we could all name at least 9 of Dyche’s team if all our fit, and ndaiye has been fit all season and started 2 games out of position. It’s also pointless playing him if we’re only going to have 25% possession. As has been pointed out v Southampton the equates to about 5 mins im Southampton’s final 3rd. He needs the ball, totally wasted under dyche

No the Bobble get 95% of things on Everton right, he has his on podcast/forum and gives information on there
Well firstly, I need to apologise, we only went as low as 18th, nit 19th, we were 18th on GD with Burnley (iirc?)

As for being in the bottom three in "That Run" we went 18th on Jan 20th with a 0-0 vs Fulham, and only climbed to 17th (The heights!!) on Feb 19th with a 1-1 vs Palace.

PS Other than the run comment, which I misread, and have pointed out we did drop into the bottom three in that time, is there anything else you feel I took out of context? Genuine Q/?

I think that @GrandOldTeam should do a poll and see who everyone thinks should be in our starting XI, what say you GOT?

Oh, and then we should have a poll on what formation to use as well I reckon?

Yes, I get that the Soton game was a *hit* show, but if you look at the team he had available, he shouldn't have played long ball direct tactics anyway, it screamed out to try and control the ball and keep hold.

Beto can't keep hold of the ball, and NDiaye and Lindstrøm are not the answer at LWF and RWF with those tactics.

I'm really enjoying the fact when an argument is presented calmly and with some (very little) logic, the post gets ignored, whereas anything that is derogatory or follows the 'narrative' it gets repeated and thumbed up for fun.

Evertonians, the most knowledgeable fans ever..! And altogether very reasonable and balanced.

OH, hang on Dyche out... Any better?

NB The bobble is as much in the dark as anyone else when it comes to Moshiri's decisions, but hey... if you want to hang your hat on his peg, then go ahead. To me, it's another ITK just like Paul Quinn, just looking for a guess to come off and be hailed genius. I've known the bobble to wrong loads of times.

Dyche has played long ball all his career over 400 games that he likes to point out he’s managed. He even played them v 2nd division Doncaster, do you think he’s actually going to try and play football one day, not sure what planet you live on
Abs are you really using the excuse of him making changes for a poor performance v Southampton, a championship team who made more changes than us.

TheEsk has said counties things that haven’t come true. Maybe you can tell me all the things the bobble has said or guessed that never happened, I’m all ears pal

what’s the who ever is ITK said?

what’s the who ever is ITK said?
See below Matty
he’s been 2/3 players away most games from his best 11. And apart from Branthwaite the others are much of a muchness. I think you’ve been living under a rock if you think the owner/board DOF won’t care about the fans. Not sure why they didn’t last year, don’t think we went into the bottom 3 on that bad run and the 3 teams who went down were the worst 3 in history of the premier league. Maybe the club thought it wouldn’t take much to survive. I also think he had more fans on board because of the points deduction.

That has changed, fans that maybe were on board have Given up on him now, they realise nothing is ever going to change under dyche. And a lot of fans are looking at the bigger picture, this isn’t just a bad start, it’s 5 wins since December 23.

And the bobble has said the board/owner will act if it gets worse
So apparently El Bobble KNOWS just what Moshiri is going to do, which is special. as I'm not sure that Moshiri himself knows what he is going to do? Or When...

Now BB even gives you the exact opinion of what El Bobble's success rate is.... I'm amazed, I really am!

How you doin' Matty? You seem calmer and may I say less stressed tonight... If I may? 🙂

Again I’m waiting for you to point out all these things the bobble has got wrong
As dyche said he could smell it, well so can I, a load of bull

I find his interviews increasingly annoying. Only read quotes from today but it's so many excuses and all so negative.

I dont think he will be in charge for very much longer.
Once you go down the route of blaimming the players, the fans, what happened before you got here, injuries, illness, we had to sell players that you basically had on the bench, you know he’s a deadman walking

Defensively astute manager lids….:

Dyche has played long ball all his career over 400 games that he likes to point out he’s managed. He even played them v 2nd division Doncaster
So, how many games has he won, drawn and lost? (NB Don't worry, I can look those figures up easily enough) Just what does playing Long-ball football prove or even mean in the context of a 10 year career? Has he actually played long ball tactics in every single game he has managed, or have there been nuances, like for example, his first game in charge of us, where he played a defensive counterattacking game, and tried to limit Arsenal's possession? Has every outcome in each game been the same? What are you actually trying to prove? I'm genuinely interested 🤔
, do you think he’s actually going to try and play football one day, not sure what planet you live on
So, Dyche has played long-ball football all his career, and he has NEVER attempted to play 'football' (so what is long ball football then?) once; well I'll raise you the 0-6 defeat vs Chelsea last season. Again, I am not trying to drop a logical fallacy on you, by asking for burden of proof. However, could I simply ask, have you ever seen all 400+ games of Dyche's managerial career?

Thanks for the personal Ad Hominen attack BB72, most kind. (Again, like have I been under a rock?)
Abs are you really using the excuse of him making changes for a poor performance v Southampton (NO), a championship team who made more changes than us.
No, I merely mentioned that with the team he selected for the match against Soton, I inferred he got his tactics wrong for the players selected? I thought that that was quite easy to understand myself..?

Quoted from my initial reply at #12,076 see here;

""Yes, I get that the Soton game was a *hit* show, but if you look at the team he had available, he shouldn't have played long ball direct tactics anyway, it screamed out to try and control the ball and keep hold.

Why does the actual number of changes matter anyway? Surely it depends on the quality and experience, of said players and the understanding of the managers tactics that count, and not numbers of changes? Or am I wrong here too?

By the way, the last time I looked, Soton are an EPL team, and they played us off the park...
TheEsk has said counties things that haven’t come true. Maybe you can tell me all the things the bobble has said or guessed that never happened, I’m all ears pal
Agreed, Paul Quinn has made many presumptions, assumptions, guesses that he thought were correct only to look like an idiot; but if you merely go back over El Bobbles transfer predictions over the last six windows, you will see at least six, and iirc many more instances where El Bobble has been wrong, and the same with team selections...

Anything else BB?

Or just throw thinly veiled insults at my footballing intelligence, my simple opinions or anything I post really.

Over to you mon ami

Do you actually have the willingness or capability for an open-minded, rational debate BB72; or are you so entrenched in your opinions and views, that trying to debate with you is a pointless exercise?

Can you prove to me, that with every pronouncement and prediction from El Bobble that his success rate is 95% spot on please..?

Or just feel free to keep insulting me, as you please.

Can you post 3 examples of where he has said we are definitely signing a player that we haven't signed and 3 examples of a team selection he got wrong.
Thanks in advance.

I have no desire to do so, as I have read them over the last three seasons.

If that means I talk BS, then believe what you believe.

And since you jumped in BttB, could you please provide evidence that El Bobble has got everything he spouts out with right to 95% exactly please😪

NB Why do I have to provide the burden of proof? BB72 stated one thing, with no evidence, and I stated another and am not wasting time trawling thru the net on some petty argument because I put out some anonymous poster's nose out of joint about their favourite go-to ITK..?

No.
You are the one making the claims.
So you should back them up.
I do believe yes you are talking bs
And the fact you won't back up your claims proves it
