2024/25 Sean Dyche

Honestly the bed-wetters on here we won't go down this season, some proper crap teams down there this season.yes he's negative yes it's crap to watch but he will get points with his miserable tactics. All I'm arsed about we get into Bramley in the premier league after the pantomime few years and we will and we will move on from him but for now let's crack on ffs...

A very good article by The Esk tbh. Hard to disagree with anything he has written here. Worth reading even if you don't like the guy. Obviously the Dychettes wont like it at all.

Usually like a few days on chicken and veg is what I usually do, she usually ends up loving her dog food scran still.

I normally don't either but he is spot on about why Dyche needs to go now.
People can see how things are going, don't need to read an article that (Probably) offers no insight.

They quite obviously got the De Rossi sacking and his replacement wrong. And ye the argument that the new guy could do worse than Dyche is pretty solid one given getting it wrong could see us relegated.

I think TFG probably goes through but I wouldn't say I'm so confident I'd let them make massive decisions on it. 777 got further along. Textor got far enough along for the dodgy Mangala and Obrien deals. TFG looked fine the first time around. If there is one thing with our recent takeovers it's that it's not done until its done.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 777 didn’t get further along you’re just making up your own [Poor language removed] now .
TFG may have got the last appointment wrong, but you didn’t say that originally, you said they got the sacking of de Rossi wrong, again 1win in 10 says otherwise, these owners are t happy to go 4 months without a win, or win 2 out of the opening 10 when you have an easy start, that’s the difference. At this rate considering the easy start fixture wise, dyche could send us down, especially with a few players now getting peed off with him.

They walked away at Roma as well, tho k the fact they come back makes it more likely to happen

They’re not going to go down and they’re not going to sack him until the new regime takes over which is probably the right move.

If they sack him now they’re just going to continue in the habit of bringing crap managers in and they’re just going to spend more money sacking the new bloke when they’re taken over.

You can ask why they don’t bring someone in now to work with the new lot but this regime don’t have that kind of foresight or footballing nous and quite honestly I don’t think they care enough to support the new people once the cheque clears.

Get the take over done, bring in the best you can find, ensure everything around him is new and hope the fans get to watch attractive football because god knows in this rigged sport a team like Everton aren’t winning anything ever again and that’s about the best you can hope for

Not sure TFG will take the same stance, let’s hope Dan is a bed wetter

But you’re taking like the take over may take 6 months, by all
Accounts it should be done by Christmas, maybe sooner. So we may not be waiting long for them to be calling the shots, with talk they had people in Liverpool last week and at the Fulham game, they will have one eye on the situation and probably have names already lined up, rumours of them sacking the Roma manager tonight

Yeah, of course, and not the manager's only idea of how to play.

This is a Dyche issue, not a player issue. Myko might not be the greatest LB but we double both flanks like that - this is the only reason Harrison is still a starter too, as he tracks back more often than attacks. It gets even more extreme if Young or Coleman are playing as then the RB is even more "protected" due to the lack of pace. Hilariously we don't cross from deep either for some reason, to go with the "no overlap" rule we use.
Dyche is part of the problem but our fullbacks stink. At least Young has shown up a decent amount lately but neither would be able to get up the field consistently regardless of Dyche's tactics. Dyche literally had to force the central midfielders to cover for them because they were sucking so bad despite rarely going downfield. That will be a problem for any team.

'bed-wetter'; A fan that hates watching negative and crap football infused with miserable tactics
'non bed-wetter'; A fan that isn't arsed if he's watching negative and crap football infused with miserable tactics

Gotcha

Why's that the benchmark for wetting the bed? He finished 12th last season without deductions and we've strengthened our squad.

The thing is we are one of them.

The thing is we are one of them.
And we have just been beaten by the worst of them, honestly don’t get how people can be so convinced we won’t go down.

We play the worst brand of football in the league. And after the easiest start for any team, we are right down there.

And of the supposed proper crap teams, we have already lost to one and drawn with another.

can you let us all know where the points are coming from, that you think he will easily keep us up, let's keep it simple next 8 games? so then that is half the season.

West Ham A
Brentford H
Man U A
Wolves H
Liverpool H
Arsenal A
Chelsea H
Man C A

I’m seeing five points there at most tbh.

But we’ve been here many times before and have seen Everton pull a rabbit out of the hat, that no one saw coming.

Being realistic though, you can’t see us getting a single point in December.
