He has won promotion to the Premier League twice with Burnley. I don't think he did that by parking the bus.

He has survived the return to the Premier League, and is now establishing Burnley there.

He has overcome the problems of losing his best players - Ings, Trippier and Keane - and has got two centre forwards.

It does suggest that he can adapt to new situations. But Burnley will not let him go without a fight.

Not necessarily the new manager I want so therefore haven't cast a vote, but I'd take him all day over Allardyce or the return of Moyes!

Would be a depressing appointment. No doubt very good at what he does but his team plays low-block defence, underdog football and his preference is to work with British and Irish players as they buy into these methods more. Michael Keane will do well though..
