Should Ferguson have stayed as a coach or should he have looked to manage elsewhere?

To be honest, if he's not gone out looking for the manager job at another club by now, then we know he's happy where he is.

The club needs a coach who can take over for a game or so in an emergency and provide continuity behind the scenes. I hope this role is not needed soon.

That's fine by me, but he's never going to be managing Everton.

The Aberdeen job is going. I wonder if he'll apply?

No, I dont think so either.

But he expects an interview for the Everton job every time it comes up.

Fraud.
Was hoping West Brom might have given him a chance but they gone for the experience of Brucey instead, he will be gone though if he don't get em a play off place so maybe in the future.?

And they're right to give it to Steve Bruce.

A lot of Evertonians have got a lot of misplaced faith in DF.

A pulsating win v Chelsea.

A bang average draw away at OT, with some awful man-management for good measure.

Out of the Carabao Cup on Penalties, and we only got to pens thanks to a Baines wonderstrike in injury time.

A complete snooze fest v Arsenal.

Fast forward 18 months? Didn't lay a glove on Aston Villa. It was as if Benitez was still in the dugout.

He's going absolutely nowhere unless booted out of FF. Even then he'll just become one of the other ex player ambassadors, like Snodin and Stewart. (by the way, annoys me we don't have a local one)

If he was serious about management, he'd already be doing it.

We've won once at old trafford in 30 years. What were you expecting, a guarenteed win?

If he’s got any ambition to manage this club he’d have started applying for other jobs when Benitez came In. Just all seems a bit cushy for him.

Yeah relegation to the cheap seats at the back, Frank's not messing about

Shouldn't be anywhere near the dugout.

He'll be praying Lampard gets punted and he can top up his "icon" status with another caretaker stint.

Un'kinbelievable this feller got an interview for that Everton job. May as well have had Fred the Doorman interviewed too.

"Just Give It Dunc!"

FFS, there were actual real human beings advocating that.

Frightening.
