Probably lol but I just did a quick google to try and gauge reactions after this game - and came across a couple of wigan posts stating very similar concerns - I'm sure I could find much more if I could be arsed lol

I know mate, Wigan with there 30 fans probably ain't the best people to gage an opinion from but like you say, they do mention a few things that some fans have mentioned

This - + if we do sack him we won't have big money for a decent manager - and or new players. Its a tricky one. On the other hand - we simply can't afford to risk getting sent down - so he has maybe 5 games left max to start turning things around.
Managers cost a few million - no where near the value of top players. What is the obsession with 'they would need funds to add to improve the squad' most on here believe we have players that are good enough. If most of the team are out of form...why is that do you think?

And WTF are that coaching team about? Jones/Lawrence/Ferguson (without the badges?) et al - coaches are there to improve players; their touch/awareness/sharpness. I am not seeing that

Thing is, form is temporary class is permanent. We have some amazing players on there day but it's not every game there on there day. It's about getting results when these players aren't.

That's down to Roberto to achieve results he's the manager he gets paid to achieve this Aswell as the players.

I keep thinking we will turn our form around ( since sep) so far we don't/can't haven't

Martinez has the answers or does he? Stick or twist I don't know the joys of an evertonian

That's an interesting way of looking at it for sure.

Thats why I think he will have maybe two games or three left.

Need to stay up. Imperative to all financial plans in place going forward including stadium.

Lose next two or three and get a man in who will guarantee staying up. May even have two weeks in transfer window month to get couple loans in.

Go down and it would be catastrophic.

Its just bad timing at the moment.
Does bill give him money in the window to get his players in or does he act now and give a new manager money.

I think we'll know the level of faith Kenwright has in martinez by the signings that come in. If we spend a bit of cash in the next 2-3 weeks im assuming his job is safe

It's not the Everton way to get relegated but we can't hide from it anymore. "But we're Everton, we're too good to go down" I wish I could adopt that attitude towards it but when looking at the table, 21 points from 20 games which means we need to perform better against the teams we've already played and pick up another 21 points. 21 points is 7 wins but 21 points looks a long way off right now

We've been utterly awful for the first half of the season and we only need to, at most, match that form for the second half to stay up, though.

Absolutely. We've seen too many teams go down and never come up and with our finances as they are we'd really struggle.

I worry that we'll leave it too long to do whatever we need to do. Either getting rid or signings.

Big decision though all the same i suppose it depends on how real this so called mutiny from the players is

You are right there relegation would be terrible for us.

Don't know about the mutiny but what I do know is that the old guard need punting.

Distin, Alcaraz, Gibson, pienaar and Robles all need peddling along with Martinez.

barry and Naismith also need benching foe the forseeable future.

Relegation & fa cup and Europa? What a ridiculous question.

Premiership is priority every day of the week. Relegation should not be even considered given the amount of talent at the club

why? this is a forum for discussions, i was just putting it out there as a conversation starter, jeez
