I'm getting worried about this bloke. He's got good intentions but he sounds like a man with a dream rather than a man with a plan. I get that he likes offensive possession football what I don't get is how he can instil this style of play and have the team look as disorganised as it does atm. There's no clear pattern play. We just look like a side that knocks it about.

Now I've got a lot of concerns about our manager so I'll list a few. One of my biggest concerns is his work in the transfer market. I've seen nothing that suggests there's a clear plan in the market. One moment we're signing his not so great past players who are near the end of their peak careers the next we're dropping 28million quid on a striker. We know our defence is close to its expiry date, yet we didn't really go in and look for one. Basically he's done a mess of building a squad that can compete with the big boys hence we're finding out the hard way this season.

Now let's move on to his team tactics. Someone explain to me how he reckons we're going to reach the next level with a team as disorganised as we are? Now his failures to organise a team are well documented since his wigan days but I didn't know that it was this bad. The only way we're winning matches is if we totally dominate the match, otherwise we're extremely vulnerable to the opposition. We're a team that relies more on hard work from the players rather than organised defensive team work. Our attack is unbalanced without a clear plan on how we're going to play in the different phases, and our defence is activity without accomplishment, these sadly are not the mark of a great coach lads. I'm sorry to say.

I'd love it if he could turn it around as he's a lovely bloke, ambitious and young but I just can't see how he's going to take us to the next level.

Our keeper problems are relatively new so you can't blame him to much there. Who the hell knew Howard would be this incompetent but then why did it take him so long to give Robles his chance?

I little surprised you want Bilic?

Instills passion and leadership into his teams.
Brave on the ball.
Has a knack of endearing himself to players and fans.
Experience of European football.
Good reputation.

I think if we lose the next 2 or 3 we could be looking at someone else.
Just wish the players and manager had the passion of the fans

Lids have been watching too much Donald Trump, the plums.

Biznuss don't work that way yo.

I want to see your birth certificate mate. I don't believe you're an Evertonian.

Celtic perhaps. Not Everton.

Release your birth certificate. What do you have to hide?

Great post mate.

The sad fact of the matter is that there are Evertonians who'll go into the Hull game praying we get beat so they can see the back of a fine and decent young manager. No question about that. That claim is right on the money.

No doubt they'll start shrieking over that, but they know it in their bones they want Martinez out so much they'd want us beaten.
Don't believe that for one minute Dave, no true Evertonian would ever want to see the team lose.
However you and all of the other pro Roberto supporters, including myself, have no more right to an opinion on him than those who would wish him gone.

Thats a good saying. And i feel, unfortunately, its how Martinez is with us right now. This is the premier league. If you have a plan to win games and it doesnt work, alter your plan to win games. Losing and abandoning what you did last year to be just so boss because its not ENTIRELY your 'phee-law-saw-phee' is just stupid.
