What have Chelsea done to/with lakaku to demand there money back + a profit? We played Fellaini for nearly 5 yrs as a star of the team learning PL footy to make a profit on him.

Chelsea have loaned him out suggesting he's not good enough to play for them, then wanting to sell him would suggest the same. Not to mention they will of overpaid in the first place to secure a young talent.

They won't be making a profit on the initial sale that's for sure! Maybe some sort of future fee/sell on fee is where they will make/recoup money on a sale

Well i read something recently with qoutes from a Chelsea club source when Lukaku was scoring the goals previous to his little dip and him and Mourinho was at a conflict of why Lukaku left and they said although he hasnt hit it off in the Chelsea first team yet, IF he was to demand a move at the end of the season, Chelsea would want there money back and more based on the potential he's shown whilst out on loan at WBA and us!.

Im just basing it on that but lets be honest, He isnt going to leave there cheap is he.

I think Cerci is a left footer who prefers the center or right side so maybe if we got him we could slide Kev across and stick him in that spot

Didnt Moyesy go in for this lad last Jan?. Good player, broke into the national side this year aswell, worth having a look at, although there as been stories going about that Moyes as been looking at him again for Utd.

CB is one position in which we have sufficient depth.

Would you take another CB knowing it meant that Osman would see more significant time in CM? Nein danke.

Jags out injured now, Alcaraz stepping in, Heitinga on his way only leaving Stones as a recognised CB on the bench?!.

I suppose we could use Hibbo at CB again aye.

If we get one more injury to a CB, which is likely with Alcaraz's record, we will be left short there!.

And we wouldnt bring in a CB at the expense of bringing in a much needed CM. Martinez as said all along we need midfield and striker cover. But that wouldnt stop him wanting a CB if required. He is definitely looking at CB's with regards to the future, as Distin cant go on forever, and the likes of Jags & Alcaraz arent getting any younger either.

He needs to play regularly if he wants to be considered by Del Bosque.

Unless we sign Barry permanently this next window, we cant make anymore domestic loans this season. Good shout though but we wouldnt have a sniff.

Maybe next season, IF we qualified for the CL?. Absolute long shot mind but could you imagine an attacking midfield 3 of Mata on the right, Barkley central and Mirallas down the left like he prefers?!!!

Get what your saying and that may well happen short term, but im not sure Martinez thinks he's ready or is ever gonna be good enough to play CB the way he wants CB's to?!.

It's pure bollox mate. Do you honestly think Moyes would pay that for him?!. I dont, not now anyway. Moyesy managed this lad for years, never gave him the chance like Martinez as. Clearly didnt think he was ready and if anything, would wait a year or 2 still before even thinking about wanting him cos he is no where near the finished article, when Moyesy thinks he is, thats when he'll strike.

If we carry on at the rate we are, get lucky and qualify for the CL this season, that will set us up financially to compete for the CL spots again and again for the next few years IMO and players like Barkley wont want to leave anytime soon then i dont think.

The only time they will is when they want to win league titles etc IMO. Unfortunately, CL football seems to be the pinnacle for footballers these days, not winning the league or FA Cup or going to World Cups, sh!t really!.

I really don't get angry or bothered about the Barkley rubbish at the moment. He ain't going anywhere anytime soon and honestly don't think he wants too. Long term if he ends up the diamond we think and Everton can't provide him a stage to challange for trophy's CL Etc then I wouldn't begrudge him the move and the phoniminal fee we will get.

Good question! haha. All great strikers have to be found and taken a chance on. You could go on and on, the likes of Bob Latchford, Graeme Sharp & Andy Gray for us, Rush, your Shearer's, Andy Cole, Yorke, Les Ferdinand, Ian Wright, Cantona, Solskjaer, Hasselbaink, van Nistlerooy, van Persie, Henry, Weah, Ibrahimovic, Villa and the list could go on and on, strikers that started out at lesser clubs but flourished later on in there careers after clubs took a chance with em.

It's harder these days to find those types of striker but they will be out there, it's just taking that chance on em.
