What has anyone got to moan about when there is more then half the window left. Know one knows how much money Bobby has got spend apart from Bobby and Bill.

This is true, but to be fair you can't blame people from fearing the worst as we've seen it all before.

The report that things "changed" regarding McGeady's "summer" move on Thursday night, when a deal was done for Jelavic which enabled McGeady's move to be brought forward, Martinez' words.

Now they could have been taken out of context and meant nothing, but considering the negative net spend In the summer and us being told funds are available, there is enough there to set alarm bells ringing.

It's not about spend its about the quality you bring in. If there not available and you spend the money anyway on tosh how is that of any help!

YES but that part is down to the manager, surely he has been supplied with a budget of some description? My question relates to the level of support the manager should expect. For me, there should be about 10m available coming into this window on top of any sales. If we did that then I could have no complaints.

A proven liable source gave us a snippet and SOME let there minds run away with them. If he has more info on the snippet to add where would he now put it? Oh that's right he can't because his thread was removed. Start another thread? Oh hang on no point, it will probably get moved into this car crash of a thread...so will probably just not bother at all.

Doesn't overly bother me, as my life doesn't revolve around threads on the internet and the right or wrongs of there substance and where they should belong....

Just think it was poor form on somebody who DOES offer something of relevance on such thing as a Everton forum.

Snippet? Go on do tell what he's actually said other than 'this will be a good week for Evertonians' because that's so bloody vague anyone could have said it.

It's worth noting that he's been wrong a couple of times recently, and this gushing over him is embarassing. If the lad wants to post he'll post, he's capable of making a new thread if he's got something concrete to say.

Ok, well yeah I'd agree with your figures. What will happen tho is if we don't spend that amount, melt down will commence on the theory rm didn't have that money available if he wished to use it. Most likely with several players named who moved clubs who could of done a job for us!

There is. But this is particularly about this transfer window and the obvious lack of resources preventing a simple 7M deal going through for a striker who is earmarked to take the place of an outgoing one and one injured for the rest of the season.

It's a legitimate concern and one that belongs in a strand discussing the window itself.

Martinez has said he will only buy someone who fits in with his ethos, if no one is available he doesn't buy. Has not once mentioned lack of funding.

having two threads discussing the same thing is normally merged into one so it can be monitored better.

In this particular case, the OP only posted twice in the thread offering minimal information, which did not justify it's own thread.
