Yes and no.

He's more than capable of playing week in week out in my book.

It's his job.

We might need to change it a little with a different type of striker like or play him with someone but he can play every game.
He's looked a bit frustrated from the lack of service, certainly when Gerard plays. Could be mental fatigue or just playing with a guy on his wave length like Mirallas.
Perhaps when breaking down teams, sharing the workload with a second striker would ease the pressure. Playing up front on your own with crap service must be fairly unforgiving.

I don't disagree, but he's been playing every minute of every game. After going back and looking, he's had the full 90 in all but 2 games since Hull City in late October.

(Jelavic started against Totty and Stoke, Lukaku was subbed in later)

I do get what you mean. I should say that.

But this kid is a bizzare physical specimen. He can play every week. Whether he should or not is another matter.

He ain't in a union and he doesn't have to carry anything heavy. And he's 20 and on loan. I say wear him out.

Wouldn't be surprised if he was a Players Association member, but that's besides the point.

I'd rather have him average 70ish minutes a game and score goals like a beast instead of playing the full 90 and just being worn out all of the time.

This just comes back to the original point, that yes getting another striker more reliable than Jelavic should be a priority. Even if it's a 4th loan that just amounts to a short-term Kone replacement.

Jelavic has served us well but I think it's time for him. Back to Scotland, Austria, or a league of similar caliber where he can get more regular playing time and secure his World Cup roster spot.

You're probably too young to get that allusion. John McKay used to coach USC back in the 70's and a reporter asked him if he was giving the ball too much to one running back. McKay replied "What do I care? The ball ain't heavy and he ain't in a union".

You don't know that at all so wind it in. Unlikely yes, but you don't know 100% that it won't be happening.

100%. I know normally you can never say never, but in this case it's 100%. Don't get me wrong he would be great, its just its not a transfer everton can make happen in January.
