Silly Season January 2014

Probably off topic but i have found the better we do, the harder FIFA gets. Started a season when it came out, bought Lukaku for 4.5 million at the end of the season. Fast forward to last week and ending a first season saw him command a 15 million fee, subject to negotiation. Good job i had Lebondowski arriving!

Heres a thought, sell jelavic and johhny and offer Lebondowski higher wages for the summer. Lukaku problem solved! nothing says play for us more than money.

Sell jelavic heitinga and if need be Baines. We keep baines and just bring players in and we will be stronger. Hell 7 million from Johnny and Niki combined could sign a half decent midfielder for the future if we look hard enough.

Would you be happy if we only brought a loan or so in next month but announced the likes of Fernando and McGeady etc were arriving for free in the summer?

Said in summer baines should be sold, sad but we need the cash and he is not getting any younger.

He's a good player, tall CB who can play a bit, think he started his career as a midfielder?!. Distin's long term replacement perhaps.

Never in a million years would we get £7m for Jelavic and Heitinga. We'd be lucky to get £2m.
