Oban 14 is a fine drink indeed.
It's lovely. Just about the most perfectly balanced whisky I've tasted, and would make a nice change from my usual peat monsters.

Here's a description of the Oban Little Bay...This one mate? I kid you not, @Groucho and I were talking about it on Twitter just the other day. Neither of us have tried it, but if it's Oban, to quote Groucho "WANT.WANT.WANT."
Can you try it for us and review? Please..

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Dried apple chips, floral herbs and chopped mint, candied orange and a touch of milky coffee.
Palate: Those fancy chocolates with the flakes of sea salt, pound cake topped with demerara sugar and cinnamon. Citrus returns on the mid palate.
Finish: Spiced with cinnamon and ginger.

My mum's just got a new Dalwhinnie, can't remember it's name, and I've not tried it yet but she says it's great. That, Springbank 10 and or a Dalwhinnie will be my next purchases I think. There are quite a few Dalwhinnie expressions available that won't break the bank.

Well, yeah, on some Saturday matches while on regular time - my local starts serving at 6am, so if the Blues were playing early, then an Irish Coffee or three is a great way to start the day, then depending on our on-field fortunes either joyous celebration or sullen bitterness....and more to drink..... orMan City semi, 6am here, was my earliest

Just having this one, very nice, very sherry-hinted. Tastes quite strong, acidic, but in a nice way.Drinking Edradour 10 tonight. Not one of my favourites but I'm enjoying it more than usual for some reason. Not had any of it for a while. Perhaps it's better than I remember.
