Sir Landon Of Donovan

I didn't get no interest at all in Everton - just won't see him at Goodison in January. He needs a break.

Earlier in the interview referring to leaving Galaxy "'I've thought a lot about it - maybe I need something different. 8 years of anything is a long time."

It's about going on loan. He's either coming here permanently, or not coming. Same net takeaway we've known for months.

What's more telling is the fact that he's thinking about leaving LA - which we've also known for months.

He's considering it. Time will tell where he ends up, and LA's performance in the MLS playoffs.

Is it wrong that I'm not even arsed about this any more?

I mean - I love Landycakes, but he's getting on a a bit with the age and stuff like that, plus this transfer saga's been going on for what seems to be forever now, it's silly ffs.

The only reason it feels like it's been going on for ages is because people don't stop talking about it. It's been the same story since he left in January. He likes Everton, enjoys playing for us, but has other commitments. We will see what he decides in January.

Going from articles and interviews our man Landon seems to looking to move on from Football pretty soon, he won't be the sort of players who plays on to until he's no good if he signs a new contract whether that's for Galaxy, Everton or any other team i think it will be his last contract.

Sounds perfect to me. Three year contract with us retiring just after we win the Champions League and FA Cup in one season.

Well in, Landy lad on slotting that pen. I really wanted LA to win (which is rare), and not only for Cascadia rivalry reasons. It's just that I'd much rather Sounders play LA than San Jose if they can advance past RSL.

I think it's clear what Landon is saying in code during interviews.

He's had enough at galaxy and wants to move on
If he was to stay at galaxy he's not interested in going on loan anywhere.
He fell in love with EFC and ideally he wants a perm transfer there.

Oh and believe me... Landon gets his move his enthusiasm will be back.

With Mirallas, Pienaar and Naismith....plus the back up of Gueye where would he fit in? He is not going to play every week I just can't work out where he would fit in. Can he play in the middle? Personally I would be looking at other positions such as right back.....Love Landon he was boss when he played for us on loan but we were in a different place then hopefully now we are a lot better personally I think we are.

He would 'fit in' on the right hand side mate, simply because he is quite easily the best right winger out of all the players you have mentioned.

There may be a bit of squad rotation, and some tactical substitutions, but Landon Donovan wouldn't have to worry about playing first team football, as he would be one of our best players.

We would of won the derby if we'd have had Landon to call upon. Mirallas and Donovan can both play through the middle and also can both play as CF. look at city, utd, Chelsea ect... They have quality throuout the squad ready to come on or be rotated. It's a squad game mate and guaye is not good enough. You need to be able to replace quality with quality and we can't at the moment.

The reason it feels like it's been going on for ages is because it's been will he/won't he for three years.
