Sky must be heartbroken

Jesus lads , we’re in danger of turning into a Northern version of the Millwall beaut’s here!
No one hates us , outside of ourselves no one cares that much about us to hate us.
Let’s leave this self pitying mentality to the cockney bells ay !
Must have missed the bit where the Premier League recommended we got 17 points deducted!

Not sure about that mate. On twitter or X (I know there are right numpties on there including me)!!!!
Loads of opposing fans wanted us down. Mainly Newcastle, Leeds and the RS supporters but others as well.
Your right about Millwall being cockney bells like.

Yep. Some chips on shoulders here. If it was a Villa or Newcastle struggling to stay up then Sky would also be showing the games.

And a week ago people would have complained had they not been showing our game v Luton.

Why do Sky want us relegated and why would us getting relegated make them money lol

Because about 10 people will be watching Luton v Everton on Friday night now, whereas if we were in a relegation battle there’d be a million kopite eyeballs watching it ready to laugh at us if we went down. Now which scenario do you think Sky’s advertising partners prefer to provide an audience for their products?

Advertisers aren’t bothered by individual games.. they will be looking at viewing figures across the season.
Yes, Sky want exciting games in an exciting season, obviously.

Individual games make up the season though.

If there’s no title race then viewing figures are down, same as race for CL, same as relegation battles. They want all of them to go to the last day or overall season viewing figures will be down on previous seasons.

As long as Everton are entirely near the bottom of the table it suits Sky for us to be in the relegation scrap. We need to get ourselves back to mid table obscurity and we’d probably see a lot of the contentious refereeing decisions disappear.
