People say all kinds of things I mean someone is even claiming the CEO of a premier league club got put in a headlock in the stadium and nobody saw it nor has anyone been arrested , banned or even ejected .

I just want us to be more canny,smart about it. As you say it was a well prepared attack by kenwright. It was basically an attack on the reputations of all Evertonians. Kenwright fights dirty and his behaviour is disgraceful but its the lads having a go at the park end thats made the press. He got exactly what he wanted.

The ceo of Everton was apparently assaulted in the stadium but nobody has been arrested or banned , there is no footage of the assault either on phones or cctv nor did any of 39,000 plus fans witness it whilst the media chose not to report it for nearly two weeks and the wider Everton fanbase /community and the city of Liverpool which is frankly a village heard not a whisper .

All extremely believable.

So security chief at Goodison park, there was an altercation resulting in a female member of the board being attacked in the stands at Goodison?
Very sadly this has taken some time to report. The CCTV inside the stadium is required by law to be kept for at least 28 days.
The attack 'happened' some 12 days ago.

Can the CCTV be handed to the authorities and the attacker/s found and brought to book please. Or is there a problem? if the CCTV doesn't exist, why doesn't it? What areas of Goodison are not covered by CCTV and does this now affect the safety certificate for games being held at said stadium? Furthermore what other lapses in security immediately around the board members is the club RESPONSIBLE for? and what other violent acts have gone unrecorded, not-investigated, and for how long?

Quite the battleground to choose this one!

People care about this club, mate. They feel like they've been thrown under the bus by the people who run it. If the story is true then the behaviour is shocking and must be condemned. But what an indictment upon the board that there are serious levels of doubt as to the veracity of the story.

You've got more contempt for the fans than those who brought us down to this level or at least that's how it seems.

Shouldn't have gone near the players., that was out of order.
As far as I know none were actually hurt thankfully.
Although they must have been scared.
But it was always going to play out in the press that the fans were at fault.
Look at sky reporting on the welcome to the coach for instance.
The board set the narrative from the off.
Letter during the week , just before the 27 yr lads sent the one at 9pm.
Owner on talksport saying the fans had driven good managers out ?
Put a statement out about the board not going ,( why wasn't that done Monday, if they really cared about the club)
including one in a headlock.

It's all part of the game to deflect attention away from them.

This really. As far as I can see regarding yesterday’s events is there was only the fans shouting abuse at the players in their cars which was bad. The alleged threats have no substance and totally deflect from the board’s incompetence.

I'd need video evidence to believe anything coming from this board

And also verification that the video was unedited by an expert.

Kenwright knows what he is doing. He fights dirty. He is snide. He wants to split the fanbase. He wants there to be 2 camps one saying "terrible behaviour by Evertonians" the other saying "he deserves what he gets." His and the boards statement of assault and threats to safety announced before the match are one of the most shameful episodes in the history of the club. He didnt care if we won or lost that match. He shouldve been showing leadership and yesterday shouldve been all about getting the win. The accusations werent specific they were at Evertonians. All of us. Dont be fooled by falling into one camp or the other. We as a fanbase must stick together through this. Kenwright knew he would get his few loons having a go at the park end. Every club has them. All he wanted was it to be filmed and used by his mates in the media. He is a disgrace.
