You could go back and find more instances if you wanted. The reel is just this season. I've been aware of this habit of his for much longer than that personally.I'm not overly sure that these Kane 'challenges' are as awful as being made out. Sure it would be better if this type of thing didn't occur, but how many times does the forward player get clattered by the defender with no hand wringing about the dangers of it?
Until I saw the 'extensive' highlight reel of Kane's campaign of backing in terror, I was completely unaware of it - I am sure that there's nothing to it other than Spurs getting attention now they are top of the league and their more committed players getting the usual media scrutiny by a media that is biased towards the Sky 4.
Problem with these challenges is that in terms of danger for an opponent there isn't much you can do on the field more dangerous than tipping a guy sideways while his head is 8+ feet off the ground. Guys get sent off for touching people's faces but this which carries a massive danger if luck isn't with the player falling is currently more likely to win Kane a foul than get him in any trouble.
