I'm not overly sure that these Kane 'challenges' are as awful as being made out. Sure it would be better if this type of thing didn't occur, but how many times does the forward player get clattered by the defender with no hand wringing about the dangers of it?

Until I saw the 'extensive' highlight reel of Kane's campaign of backing in terror, I was completely unaware of it - I am sure that there's nothing to it other than Spurs getting attention now they are top of the league and their more committed players getting the usual media scrutiny by a media that is biased towards the Sky 4.

You could go back and find more instances if you wanted. The reel is just this season. I've been aware of this habit of his for much longer than that personally.

Problem with these challenges is that in terms of danger for an opponent there isn't much you can do on the field more dangerous than tipping a guy sideways while his head is 8+ feet off the ground. Guys get sent off for touching people's faces but this which carries a massive danger if luck isn't with the player falling is currently more likely to win Kane a foul than get him in any trouble.

Ive seen it said on here a few times that Spurs are a club Everton should try to emulate, so if they were to somehow continue to compete with much richer Man City and your neighbours Liverpool, the best team in the country, I’m sure more of you will begrudgingly also want Spurs to do so.

Why are you so desperate for our validation. Most of us on here hate everyone so we couldn’t give a toss how anyone else does.

Yes a different kind of act but one of Everton’s much loved strikers got sent off for an atrociously dangerous possible career ending tackle just a few weeks ago.

When the refs start pulling up the Kane and Gomes acts, they will soon both stop doing it.

My default position is to dislike all of the clubs that the media goes crazy for. Currently that's their Big 6 and Leeds. That can be mitigated by those clubs having players I enjoy and so currently I have no problem with City on account of De Bruyne and Chelsea on account of Pulisic and Ziyech. Spurs shouldn't take it so personal that people around here dislike them because it just gets old having the people pushing the game to the masses acting like half the league doesn't matter.

I'm not desperate at all or need validation and as there is no rivalry between the two teams, I'm surprised at the % of people putting down a "No mark club like Spurs."
