Love or hate Bill Kenwright, its not often we sell a player for a fee we're not happy with.

Indeed, ive never been Bills biggest fan, hes made loads of mistakes, but I think hes only done whats best for Everton, hes got the best prices and over the years hes got us some bargains in.

Bill Kenwright wouldnt have bought Yannick Bolasie for 25m, but hes clearly been given a green light to pay whatevers needed.

Trumpets like Damo asking for heavy hitters, they dont hit harder than Big bad Bill.

Bill is the final decision maker. Moshiri is an investor. That will only change if Moshir becomes unhappy with Bill and then the board collectively will decide.

I disagree MM, Bill might still hold the title of Chairman, but Farhad Moshiri is calling all the major shots.

Surprised by Moshiri today placing so much emphasis on the role of Kenwright in transfers?

In a statement to Sky Sports News, Moshiri said: “We are very pleased about today’s signing but remain anxious to further strengthen the squad.

“The chairman is relentlessly pushing things forward with my total support for him, Steve Walsh and Ronald Koeman”.

I can tell you with 100% accuracy and confidence that Bill was not involved in the early summe transfer activities

He's chairman of the board.

However, the board make managerial decisions.

The chairman of the board is just a figure head position who answers direct to shareholders. Thats typical within most companies.

The chairman gives - direction. He doesn't make on the spot decisions.

According to the EFC articles of association. BK might have some deciding authority in the event of a tie of board meetings.

However, it looks like a traditional figure head role to me.

Moyes had already confirmed that.

Damo you're chatting the most acute of wham. You have little idea, none of us do. It's ok to admit it. Honest.

The chairman is the leader of the board, the CEO carries out his wishes. Basically the Chairman is the boss. Moshiri is an investor albeit a major one.
