Dropping five points from our 'easiest' run of fixtures isn't great really. Going to be a struggle to get top 4 now when you consider our last three home games are United, City, and Arsenal.

......thought Stones did ok.

He didn't have to deal with much. A few spells at the start of the 1st half he played well, boss little 20 yard run from the back too.

2nd half he and Alcaraz had nothing to do really. Goal aside, we camped in their half

A number of our players were poor today, Pienaar the biggest culprit. Coleman no one near as effective as he usually is and the same can be said for Lukaku, Mirallas, Barry & Barkley.

we were poor, but as soon as they scored they shut up shop so it looked like we were assualting them all the time, when they were actually allowing us the ball and hoping to soak up the pressure.

a point is actually pretty useless in the grand scheme of things - but we got what we deserved, so perhaps there is some justice in the fact that its done us no real good at all.

**** me, this thread today makes me wonder what people expect sometimes, should have scored 3-4 vs a team thats conceded 6 goals at home all season including beating chelsea their, one of the best backs to the wall defending efforts i've seen from a team for years, the amount of bodies they threw in front of clear chances was tremendous, and we rescued a deserved point at the death in spite of that.

Stoke are mid table for a very good reason their bloody a hard team to beat at home, we never stopped trying or believing in that game, and frankly its a lot more than most of our fans on here did. The amount of ****ging off of players, moaning about tactics, and effectively giving up on a season as good as this on the back of this game was a joke, some need to have a bloody think about the realities sometimes

We were dross, and absolutely battered them from start to finish. Little bit of luck goes our way and we win it comfortably. Unfortunately you need that sort of luck to achieve what we are trying to achieve.

A break for the cup has come at a good time, get some reinforcements in, have a little breather and then go all guns blazing again. We are still balls deep in this.

Ha that was one of those days for everton,we were very unlucky not to win despite last min goal, woodwork 2 times from mirallas and the shot from mirallas blocked after the pass from the left, having shots cleared off the line 2 times pretty much, thought we could play till tomorrow and not score the luck we had

He's 20 years old. Can't think of many strikers at his age leading the line and firing a club into the top 4 week in week out. He's gonna have a drop in form.

I know he is, I hardly laid into him. But it's worth pointing out that he was very poor today.

Looks a confidence player, once he scores he looks unplayable.

Hope your ban comes soon lad, sick to death of reading your drivel on here

We played like the home team the conditions suited them more than us - Stones had a very good game apart from the stupid header out that gave them their goal! Alcaraz was brilliant today also, Osman again proved best coming on late in the game made the pen well done to him! Glad for the 1-1 in the end as they defended well 10 men behind the ball conditions against the wind were poor for us in the 3nd half but hitting the woodwork twice was unlucky!

Its like some people thing that Stoke is a league one side or something. They've lost once at home and even beat Chelsea. We had 2 hit the post and about 4 excellent chances on goal which were defended brilliantly. Stoke threatened a bit but they only had one shot on goal.

Osman our MOM, probably should have came on earlier.

Yet we were very "poor" apparantly.

Think people are still bevvied from last night.
