we were poor, but as soon as they scored they shut up shop so it looked like we were assualting them all the time, when they were actually allowing us the ball and hoping to soak up the pressure.

a point is actually pretty useless in the grand scheme of things - but we got what we deserved, so perhaps there is some justice in the fact that its done us no real good at all.

Apart from giving us an extra point in the league of course?

Pretty much everyone played gash up to average, **** happens and professional footballers have off days, the day anyone can solve how to stop it is the day they become very very rich.

Add to that Stoke being up for it and pretty much bloody everything falling their way and we've done well to come away with a point.

Can't understand any of this positivity towards that game, every player on the pitch was giving the ball away, playing awful clueless passes, and if Stoke weren't so bad then it would have stayed 1-0.

The last 3 performances have been extremely concerning and Roberto needs to get doing some business/hammering into these players

Lukaku was embarrassingly bad and when the only sub you have to replace him is Jelavic/Naismith then champions league is miles off the cards

Do agree with alot of what your saying but it is pleasing to see that even though we was bad with are passing in parts, we kept on going and going and going and got the point in the end. That type of game was a loser last year and the years before under Moyes!.

But dropping points in such games isnt good enough for where we want to be and Europe is going to be tough to get after the dropped points in this busy period.

Martinez needs to get the necessary help in in this window asap. A striker definetly as Lukaku is playing poor. Some creativity, either in CM or in wide areas, maybe both?!

Agreed, it only looked like we scored an equaliser. In reality it's still 1-0.

Horrible weather to play pass and move, Stoke are very hard to beat at home, we looked leggy and a few are playing who've got no right to be in the side based on performance.

All in all we had the better of it and it's a decent point.

Not a fan at all, but Osman got us that point. A combination of his introduction and Stoke backing off, buckling under pressure.

Not the result we wanted but at least we got a point. We know where we need to improve and we will improve, in Jan.

We're not out of any fourth spot race because we drew away at stoke.

I know he is, I hardly laid into him. But it's worth pointing out that he was very poor today.

Looks a confidence player, once he scores he looks unplayable.

Yup. It's always gonna be tough with him. I'd rather him play at 50% than Jelavic. We've no options. Jela is as bad with his hold up play and touch when he's on top of his game.

Kone would've come in useful about now.

*dodges glass*

Nonsense of the highest order. Utter, utter pony.
