Martinez got it all wrong today, wrong team ,wrong tactics.
Played too narrow made it easy for them and made our forwards look bad.
We all know how poor Stoke are and the RS will batter them, just as we should have done.
Please be carefull Roberto..don't turn us into Wigan.

Wigan won at the RS and Arsenal when the chips were down in 2012. Imagine what Bob will do with a season under his belt with the pick of the Wigan players added to the extra class at GP, and the extra players he will have brought in. Let's face it, it's still early days.

Very good point today. Kept at it against a resilient defence and got our just reward at the end. Little more guile needed against defences like that but guile is a bit out of our price range.

Ok so they have been beaten once at home this season

City and Chelsea have both failed to win there

Get a grip

All too often after games and results like this one today you come on here and read some rubbish from so called fans of this great football club! Today was never ever going to be an easy game - Stoke are no mugs at home (ask Chelsea) and can defend for fun! We hit the woodwork twice and had at least two cleared off the line! Our centre backs were a 19 year old and Alcaraz who was playing only his second full game!

For me that wasn't a bad point at all, yup three would have been great, but reading some of the rubbish on here (milkshock and co) you'd think we'd got beat by 3 or 4!

I think all the rediculas negativity after a draw at a difficult ground in the middle of a stupid amount of games in a short period proves how well Martinez is doing.

I have said this on about 3-4 previous posts : Milshock's contribution to this forum are curdled comments

that's the internet - state an opinion free of sentiment and you will be castigated

your curdled comments cause me no offence whatsoever - for my part, I shall continue to post as i see fit.

So frustrated with that today.

Stoke are an absolutely horrendous team who just fill their own box with 7-8 players and hope for the best, We needed one of Kevin's efforts to go in and I think we would of seen a completely different game.

A points better than none but 4 points from Sunderland, Southampton & Stoke isn't great.

not calling you a liar but i dont recall any chances cleared off the line. Naismith's header was about as close as it came i think and that was not on the line, the defender was at least 5 yards ahead of the keeper.

Stoke boss Mark Hughes: "We're disappointed. We put a huge effort in. We were good value for a 1-0 lead. I felt we coped really well with Everton. Four or five weeks ago we were beaten 4-0 by them. Today we more than matched them"

Outrageous.

Comparing our passing in the Arsenal game to the passing vs Sland and Stoke is pointless. We had space and counter attacking opportunities vs Ars.

Against stoke today any bal into the final third and two stoke defenders...at least..were on to the receiving player. Some people dont see past results/goals. The players put in the effort there and dont deserve the bunch of crap written on here.

If Bobby has us fifth and within touching distance of top 4 despite having to use the likes of jelavic and naismith and play Lukaku to death then he is doing well.

Cant wait to see how the squad looks at end of Jan and even more so start of the new season.
