Stones tells Everton he wants Man City transfer

I wouldn't say it's bizarre for any adult fan to have no ill will towards him.

Football is a game that involves huge emotions. When a player disrespects the club we love two seasons on the run, then people will feel ill will.

Personally, I now hope he doesn't turn into the player he could have been. Why would I want Man City to benefit from that?
THIS x100%
I recall very unsavoury scenes at their council house in the 2nd leg semi last season.

Why would I want him to succeed, along with a manager who just turns up at the richest clubs and wants instant success. I hope they are in a relegation scrap. (They have had rather a lot of them in my lifetime).

Bye John.
You have done the impossible and split the fan base 70% to 30%. I'm in the 30% , You ask to leave, You have this posters blessing..NEA.

I get the point your trying to make but your missing out the gk. He was a experienced premier league and international gk and he made plenty of mistakes
and our defensive was still gash when Robles came in, Martinez downfall was his stubbornness in only focusing on my playing his desired style which lead to the terrible defensive unit we saw. I remember at one point during the season we had allowed the most shots in the league on target, any keeper with it be Robles or Howard is going to be hard pressed to keep clean sheets in that case. Hopefull Koeman gets his desired CBs in and we start keeping some clean sheets ;)

Suits all parties this. No problem with him going in the slightest as it is key to us recruiting this summer.

I think he will do well at Man City because he will have room at the back to play out. It may sound crazy but i was more gutted about Lescott going to City, simply because i understood how great the Lescott - Jagielka partnership was. Stones - Jagielka dont come close to what Jagielka -Lescoot partnership was like, best CB pairing in the league for me at one point. Take the biggest offer for Stones & run, could be the next Rio Ferdinand, could be the next Anton Ferdinand lol

It is bizarre. He's not disrespected the club, don't be so childish. He's just asked for a transfer.

I could not care less about him. I think he put in some half arsed performance since his Chelsea move was not materialised last August. He can be replaced given the amount we will receive from Citch. Have absolutely no emotion on this lad. See ya and take the cash.

Bye John. I don't blame you for leaving, clearly you've saw first hand that nothing has changed, you're doing the right thing for your career.

You will be missed.

Sad times for Everton when young prodigious talent doesn't want to stick around. This is a lad on the inside who knows a hell of a lot more than we do, he knows that it's all smoke and mirrors and Moshiri and Koeman haven't got a clue.

Bye John.

Nit going to scroll back, but some were saying lets sell and get some quality and better defenders in than Stones. Where are these better players and why arent the likes of City in for these players?
