If you're a season ticket holder then the club already has your money. Its not going to make the slightest bit of difference to the vermin that own/run the club if we chose to not attend and basically throw away our own coin.
Yeah but it's not about the money, its about the message, when Newcastle had 1000s not going its because they were protesting against the owner, who got ran out of town.
Like yesterday, the protest was worth doing, but unfortunately too many thought it would be a good idea to abuse players, which was the worst thing we could of done.
A boycott is vital now, just one game, which we will probably lose anyway and its on TV
People won't do it, the idea of I've paid for my ticket already is ridiculous, when you consider it's not actually much fun and loads only last about 30 minutes anyway before the negativity sets in.I've been boycotting for years, but then again I live in London
However, regardless of whether the board already have the money, the images of empty stadiums do send a message to the wider football world.
Maybe there's actually nothing we can do, but sitting back and waiting for a take over makes you feel helpless.I think at this point its largely pointless - Usmanov is sanctioned and Moshiri either wants a buyer or an investor to come in and sort us oot.
Until that buyer/investor arrives little will change and I think the ugly scenes of yesterday will only do us more harm than good in terms of trying to convince a new owner / players that we are a great bunch of lads to get involved with.
Maybe there's actually nothing we can do, but sitting back and waiting for a take over makes you feel helpless.
Im at relative peace with it all tbh - once you accept you'll likely never be alive to see us win a PL title it makes our current reality less stressful. Brentford and Brighton are doing well now but so were we a few years ago, so were Wolves, WHU etc. They'll be in a relegation battle before too long.
Citeh were a yo-yo club, Newcastle were buried under Ashley, Villa went down - it all comes round in circles.
Bye bye then. The waiting list is huge so you won't be missed. I need a third ticket and may have to wait for the new ground. I hope you get to change your mind though.Yes. But a rather pointless vote as weekends are my biggest bunsen. Palace last season was the first time in 7 years - and there's no way anything can top that, so I'm done with Goodison.
I love how people just assume this ground is going to happen without either PL survival or the Qatari silver bulletBye bye then. The waiting list is huge so you won't be missed. I need a third ticket and may have to wait for the new ground. I hope you get to change your mind though.
This is part of the problem. With this attitude we won't make change. You don't cave in and say it's pointless because every contributing action is important. We deserve everything we get with this viewpoint. The club has your dough but your non show is probably the only way this club survives. You can cheer at the game but it's not working against the vile ones as I now call them. This club seriously is starring down the barrel of a gun.This.
I have a sesson ticket, though my daughter uses it as often as I do these days.
Our non attendance would be futile as the club already have my dough.
Plus I have no intention of letting the season ticket stay unused given the money it costs.
But above all else I will not sit in the house whilst my beloved club fights for its PL survival on the pitch.
Me or my daughter will be in that seat urging them on.
So no, I won’t be heeding any call to boycott EFC on matchdays.
