he's an upgrade on Bolasie but massively over priced imo mate.

For me it stinks of Brands having tried the hard negotiating tactic on first choice targets which haven't come off now we are panicking late in the day and are now having to over pay for more obtainable yet underwhelming signings.

Far too expensive, and wouldn’t represent any departure in overpaying for players from English clubs. I hope it’s more paper talk as blowing cash on Richarlison will just leave the pot bare for desperately needed signings in other areas.

Looking like a mirror image of moshiris first transfer window this one, going for big targets with the right intentions but getting knocked back til we eventually end up with the likes of bolasie for ridiculous fees

Taking the rumours at face value perhaps the problem lays in the way Celtic allegedly wanted paying up front. Perhaps we needed to stagger payments in order to strengthen other areas of the team and at the end of the day Tierney is still mostly 'potential ' at this point.
If we choose to sign Digne , we are still getting a young player who is already proved himself in stronger leagues and whose price allows us far more manoeuvrability in the transfer market.
In the end it doesn't matter who we sign as long as they improve Everton Football Club.

Signing Digne over Tierney will be Silva's "Funes-Mori Moment"
