I don't see anything special in him tbh... with lookman, vlasic , Barkley etc they all have moments when they do something and you think " that was good" DCL doesn't do that.
What attributes? He's tall? And fast? Agbonlahor was tall and fast, Vaughan was the same.... being able to run fast isn't a rare attribute . His finishing is pathetic he doesn't have a powerfull shot and he doesn't find the corners, he has no composure and misses sitters. His workrate and pace is the only thing he's got and that's not good enough to be a decent prem striker
It's better than that mate... apparently DCL is the best player in the world for his age in his position... that actually got typed

Let's not forget DCL missed an open goal from 0.02 yards out in the final weeks of the season. Some talent tbh to do that. Worse than Kanu's famous over-the-bar effort all those years ago.

To me and many others Iceland was our best player this season apart from Pickford and as @Peanut94 says he had no preseason and an injury, lets see what he can do next season
Sometimes I think its the "Everton Way" on here to say everyone is gash, in some cases that's correct but its all about opinions!
Don't agree here, I have never been a fan of Naisse but off the bench he is useful, defenders don't know what he is going to do, because lets face it I don't believe he knows either, thus a good option, he will score 10 - 12 goals per season off the bench.
When we are actually challenging for the top four then obviously we need more class
Think he is the only creative outlet barring Walcott we have had all season, at least when he had the ball he looked like he could do something with it

Regarding open play, Sheedy, someone mentioned him earlier, wasn't he a luxury player who excelled at the dead ball situation

Siguardsson (and I rate him) and sheedy shouldn’t be mentioned on the same sentence. Not only was he the best dead ball specialist I’ve seen playing for Everton, he could influence games from wide on the left with a wand of a left foot. He would drift inside and see a pass in an instant and scored many goals from open play. What a player.
