What do people think of Ryan Sessegnon of Fulham?
I've seen him a good few times this season and he looks amazing.
He's only just turned 18 and is a real talent.
I know it's probably a mad idea, but we should be in for him big time.
We are clearly several steps above Fulham and are well known for giving youth a chance.
He has been watched by other big clubs, but at his age he's hardly going to be getting first team football for Spurs, City or United who have all been watching him apparently. If he went to Chelsea, that is basically end of career as he would be loaned out to a Belgian club for several seasons before being sold on. Same with City.
I know it's probably unlikely now, but we have the promise of a new stadium and a massive injection of funds, especially if Usmanov comes on board, we could promise him first team football which he wouldn't get elsewhere and it would be a massive step up in terms of team and wages. A few seasons with us in the first team, plus the addition of real talent around him and we could be an attractive proposition for him.
We should offer Fulham the 40m mentioned asking price and see what they say.
