I’m surprised he ended up at Brentford considering the supposed interest from higher profile clubs.
Maybe he was assured of game time in the first team.

Brentford are a well run club and always give kids a chance. Quite an interesting club.

Yeh they use moneyball and have links with the Danish team I can’t spell. New stadium on the horizon and eyeing the PL soon.

In typical Everton fashion, we haven't. We dilute his responsibility off the ball by sticking him alongside another defensive midfielder, and worse - we ask him to take the ball forward...

Should just give him ownership of that defensive midfield/let him hassle the living crap out of anyone who gets near our box. When he gets the ball, lay it off to the nearest player - a full back or another midfielder

Wouldn't get a starting spot at any prem club i'm guessing as he is only 20, so a move to Brentford for a couple of years makes a lot of seance

Im sorry, but being Englands nr 1 isnt a stamp of high quality anymore, and United wouldnt have problems getting a better keeper. I like Pickford, but too much is put on him being a promising british keeper. Had he been just as good but from Greece or something, people would see him a little more objectivly. He made big blunders for us last season and, if anything, him being Englands nr 1 should be a little worrying for you guys.
