.....it’s Wednesday and here’s what this morning’s transfer rumour columns are saying about Everton;

- According to 4th Official, Everton are set to move for 21 year old defender, Issa Diop. The 6ft 4in Centre Back plays for Ligue 1 side, Toulouse, who will be demanding £26m for the player.

- SkySports and others report Everton are considering a move for Hertha Berlin Left Back, Marvin Plattenhardt. The 26 year old is something of a free kick specialist and has been at Hertha since 2014 after joining from Nuremburg. Capped at all levels from U17, the player is in Germany’s squad for this summers World Cup in Russia.

- The Northern Echo say Everton’s top brass contacted Newcastle United over 24 year old Centre Back, Jamaal Lascalles, but we’re immediately scared off by the £30m asking price.

- Various outlets continue to link The Toffees with 21 year old Norwich playmaker, James Maddison. SportsLens website suggest Everton are leading the chase for the youngster and about to put in a bid of over £20m.

- in what they call an exclusive, TeamTalk report Everton and Liverpool are leading the race to sign Cork’s 21 year old central defender, Sean McCloughlin. McCloughlin was last season’s stand-out young player in the League of Ireland.

- SkySports claim Watford are about to sign Everton target, Adam Masina, from Bologna. The 24 year old left back impressed in Serie A last season.

- The Liverpool Echo say Kevin Mirallas is about to hold talks with Everton over his future. Mirallas is contracted to June 2020 but the 30 year old is likely to leave Goodison this summer as part of a ruthless cull by Marcel Brands.

No way are we getting rid of ten of these wasters this window.

They are the equivalent of when you’d forget your PE kit at school and be sent to the meff box to assemble one from lost property, a pile of sweaty mess that no one wants or needs.

There were only about two genuine games that I thought we'd lose. Everything else, thought we'd get a point at the very least.

How very different it all could have been if the wind hadn't kicked off for that Palace game.

Mad that we couldn’t even really enjoy that season fully because Big Red were storming to the league title until early May. Everton, that.
 
Who knows how this will play out. Rumours of Maddison are hotting up and lots wanting to add Lozano. Trouble is we HAVE to get a LB (Germany) a CB and CM. I would imagine the first 2 will cost best part of £50mill, & 20 for Germany? Free big Willy and £30 on a defender. That’s £100 mill! We’d need to recoup at least 60/70 from outgoings I reckon. Fun times!

£100m is only the start of it to fix the wreckage left in the wake of Hurricane Ronald.
 

I want our not-wanted players methaphorically shot down by Brands like US snipers hunting down ISIS terrorists in combat. No second chances, just pyar headshots to get them 'kin gone.
